I have OBE'd from lying on both sides.  This usually starts out as a failed attempt by falling asleep while lying on my back. When I wake up I roll over onto my side and start feeling sensations.

I have only AP-ed while being on one of my sides. Out of 25 OBEs only one was while laying on my back and it was a very short one, just a separation of a meter above my body and that was it. Usually I can only do it when I am laying on one of my sides :)

I have been doing some reading and almost everything I read says you should either be laying on your back, legs uncrossed and arms at your sides OR sitting in a chair or recliner to have the correct posture for APing. I know that I have never been able to fall asleep while laying in bed on my back.

I was wondering if anyone has ever APed by laying on thier side or even stomach. What positions do you find that work the best?

Thanks.  [8)]
