Hey Celestial Sounds,
Personally I don't find that it is necessary to regularly change techniques, it is just important to keep up the momentum of practice and an ever-increasing degree of concentration.  It is easy to get lazy and let thoughts of every day life interrupt us, or allow our other human drive to grab our attention.
I have found it is necessary to give 100% every time to our meditations and ideally to have every one be more driven, more concentrated, more focused than the last.  Essentially what we are trying to do is shift our attention for a time at least to higher levels of awareness; we cannot do that if we continually keep our attention on our body, our relationships, the movie about to come on or our financial worries etc.
The bliss and glory of higher mind exists at all times whether we are aware of it or not it is just that at the present moment, while we meditate we are attempting with "all" our awareness/attention to focus on our spiritual being, and nothing else, there is plenty of time to think about the other stuff in the other 23 hours in the day.

                                          My Best wishes for success,

                                                               Adam.

scs,

Have stayed with the Astral Dynamics techniques and that seems to get things going pretty good. Perhaps slight modifications and experimentations along the way though.

Today, however, I received the Wave-1 cds in the mail. I'll get into them and see how integrating them (into what I've been doing) works and let you know.

Very best,

Hey all. [:D]

I practiced earlier and my meditation was WICKED. I did the 4-2 and reached a VERY good trance state. My body was heavy, and my screen was suffused with a yellowish light. Then this light formed into a very fat ring, filling up the screen, and then this ring closed up into a big fat dot in the center of my screen. Then another ring manifested, and then it closed up. My body was in trance- and I'm happy that I entered a successful trance meditation.

While sitting there I was becoming impatient, actually waiting for the alarm (it was set for 10 minutes.) I then pulled myself together and started to relax into my trance, and watch this ring phenomenon. Then my brow center started to buzz-tingle in the center- in one spot. It was interesting.I decided to sit in trance a bit longer, since I was so impatient earlier, and felt the heaviness of my trance, watched the repeating closing ring, and felt the 'buzz' in my third eye.

Later when I went into relaxation to project, but it was again difficult to relax. I was trying to repeat my sequence of techniques from yesterday- Monroe/Gateway affirmation aloud, 4-2 meditation, and then visualization of a blue triangle, trance meditation, relaxation.

I will do a different sequence tonight, and am writing to ask do you find that your techniques need to be changed around regularly to keep their effectiveness? And how much of a change do you need?

I appreciate all of your replies. [:D]

Sincerely,

Celestial Sounds
