A target can be a set of coordinates, a place name, a photograph, an object, a person, anything that you can use your mind to focus on specifically. Once a target is chosen you must assess color, shapes, movement, etc. The first few images are likely to come from your imagination, so ignore them. Pay attention to the ones that persist. Once you can establish a direct link to the target you begin to perceive thoughts such as words, pictures, and in rare cases other individuals who are also capable of mind-to-mind or telepathic interaction.

Target are not limited to earth and therefore can cause potential problems when you get your energy body out into space. Your mind thinks of a planet or moon and then you're sensing or perhaps even at that particular planet. So, make sure to choose targets carefully and use a method such as map coordinates and google maps to locate specific target locations.
