I think I was about to astral project, not to sure

Hey guys,

I need some advice, last night I was dreaming and I knew I was in my mind that I could just wake up from it any time, it was like I was in two states of mind. However It went black and a green flake appeared and I started to hear a really loud buzzing sound I panicked and tried to wake up but could not and let out a yelp which brought me back.

Was I about to project? or not.

You can't astral project if a green flake appears.

I was reading others posts that people experience images, so I was not astral projecting at all?
