Astral travel to take place of car travel?

With the whole New Orleans Hurricane Katrina tragedy gas prices have spiked up to an all time high. Charlotte NC $3.25 gallon.

Ive been thinking about the time when the earth runs out of its oil supplies. Will Astral travel possibly take the place of car travel? Will a vast majority of humans learn how to project in light of the gasoline they cant afford for their car?

i think since u cant physically accomplish anything in the astral if u went on a vacation to another state other then the beauty of viewing other locations in a way no one else has ever done, i believe its a "no" to your question, but the thought is cool lol

At various times this week in Michigan it had reached $3.50 a gallon. Gotta love it ehh!

As for your question, wouldn't that be kick butt if the family could take a vacation into the astral, visit different locations and come back hours later.

I really doubt astral travel will submerge as for keeping prices down. Good idea though! I am thinking one of two will happen when we reach the end of our oil supply. All vehicles of transportation will be switched over to electricity or running on water. Maybe a mixture of both and some sort of another substance.

Thanks for all the replies on my topic.
I was hoping someone would make a machine that makes etheric matter and we would  be able to wear gloves in the astral that would affect physical things.
but that would put the world in a little bit of chaos with people throwing chairs at others and such.

The easier and cheaper solution is using vegetable oil in diesel cars. Electric cars would have more problems than advantages, and diesel engines are already in use and are very effective. Using vegetable oil as a source of energy is incomparably cheaper way of utilising solar energy than solar powerplants. And running on water is impossible.
