anything that deeply preoccupies your subconscious mind so that you don't get distracted easily is a good way to induce trance. it allows your conscious mind to focus more intently without being bothered by the subconscious's stupid habit of never shutting up. ;)

Has anybody actually successfully APed by using BrainwaveGenerator? I am about to start dabbling with it. I have listened to Monroe's CDs, they seem to be a complete rip-off compared to BrainWaveGen which you can d/l for free!

Any experiences to share pls?
Success - It is not the position you stand, but the direction you look

I have had some good success using tommi's vibration starter preset.  Generally I would listen to it for about an hour, then take off headphones, vibrations usually start then within 10 minutes.  Sucessful OBE then afterwards.

I came across a site that explains binaurial sound beats how they can help a person train their brain to go into a trance state quickly heres the link

I've tried brainwave software and as it drops frequency from alpha (12 to 8 mhz) to theta (8 to 4mhz) and stays at 4mhz theta I get very relaxed I wonder if this can help someone accelerate to obe because it actually helps condition the mind to relax a lot? That is also what the monroe institute teaches and sells those hemi-sync tapes which are pretty much binaural sound beats.
