Can Astral projection be a glimpse at our alternate lives?

Hi everyone,

I recently read a book on astral projection, "The out of body experience" by Anthony Peake. In the third part of the book he talks about the different theories behind astral projection pertaining to quantum physics and he mentions the many worlds interpretation of the universe (ie. that there are multiple realities.) Is it possible that when you astral project you can experience one of your alternative lives? Like when Robert Monroe saud he could visit "I there."
Has this ever happened to anyone?

I'd be quite wary of lumping quantum physics with astral projection. It seems to be a fashionable trend to state 'quantum physics' as evidence of anything 'spiritual' and it smacks of selling books/making money to me.

Can we experience alternate lives when dreaming? Do we visit other realities in dreams? Well, if at some point in the future one of these theories that he mentions becomes accepted as fact, then I'd argue that we've been mentally zooming all over the place since we were born.

Assuming the theory holds true, in answer to your question - yes it's possible. And yes, I have. An alternate life in a dream may be simply where you are someone else with a family that your waking self doesn't recognise. That's happened to me any number of times. I could quite easily write a book about these particular adventures and call them my "I There" experiences validating them by waffling on about quantum physics.

Maybe that's what it is: alternate lives are dream lives, or as Frank would say FoC 2 lives. So, astral projection, better called phasing, could be temporary focus into alternate lives, situated into the FoC 2 area of consciousness. I don't believe that there's any validity to the hypothesis of a Universe with an infinite number of parallel lives sprung from all the decision forks.

may i ask a related question? if for the sake of it we say that alternate lives are real. would it be possible to transit through these lives, if the differences between thise lives are not too big?

its just that throughout my life if someo e asked me to explain my life , i would say that i feel as if i ve been transitting through lives, like a dufferent oerson. i know it sounds ridiculous.

i remember when i smoked weed one time and something haooened, i was sleeoing but it felt like i was flicking through hundreds of realities and i didnt know which one was real

They are real if that was the question. I was in many of them already. Some are completely different, some are slightly different from this one. You can get some hours or days of duration to experience them.
