I figured that all you would have to do is know the time of the drawing, go into the future shortly after that time, where you are just looking at your computer, and then when that time comes, make sure your computer is on at the Powerball page that has the numbers, with the browser open to the page for say a few hours so it's easier to get to a good time! You make sure you memorize the numbers and do it a few times if you need to to get the numbers.

It doesn't quite work like that.
It's more of a 'feeling desire'.
You need to think of each number and get the feeling it'll be drawn. Do this for every number then do it again until you're left with the required ones for the lottery.
Write them down and do not buy a ticket.
Repeat several times to see how successful you are.

What if there's more than one future?   

What is time, anyway?  A sense of movement through a dimension of "space" that we can't otherwise perceive?  That's how physicists tend to model it.  So why couldn't there be more than one direction that things could take for you?  This also relates to the ideas of free will vs. pre-determined fate.  If there is only 1 possible future that could occur, then everything is effectively pre-determined and is only playing itself out mechanically and unavoidably.  If there are multiple possible futures, and some sort of intervention of free will is what determines which will be experienced... then we get into a range of very interesting possibilities.

Personally I think your universe centers around you and your own consciousness, literally.  What you experience is your reality and it may not map out precisely onto mine.  You create your own future.  And if you want something else, you can change it.  It's a decision you make.

Have you ever tried to discern distinct details in an OBE state? It's tough.

Let's assume that you actually can see all of time and space while out of body, what makes you think you can perceive the nature of reality in any way that would be meaningful to your practic earth self? What makes you think time and space are even remotely similar to what we think they are? Reality is probably so insanely different than we think that we could never truly perceive it in this human form. Picking out something like lottery numbers in the vast expanse of "reality" is surely possible, but good luck figuring that out. I suspect that if you could, you'd have discovered a fundamental truth about reality that would let you shape it at will. Plus, I'm sure you'd be super famous back here on earth with the rest of us.

You should just go for that new age reality manifestation stuff.

Why is that convenient?

We're probably in the best position (compared to someone new at this) to know that your chance to actually win the lottery is the same as you picking the numbers for that lottery in a projection.

He's saying that your odds of winning wouldn't be any better by picking the numbers from a "future" projection than from just getting random numbers. Not, that we're "above all that", because believe me, if I could use projection to satisfy the needs of my physical body in the materially based society that we live in, i absolutely would. I wouldn't make gaining that kind of advantage from projection my goal, but I understand that my physical body must be cared for and if I could get those needs taken care of, while also allowing myself more free time to pursue the pastimes that help me grow creatively and spiritually by picking future lotto numbers, I would. I just also know that the numbers I might divine in a projection experience aren't anymore likely to win that numbers I pick in waking life. It just doesn't work like that as far as I can discern.

If someone says that they are above seeking something like lottery numbers in projection experiences because they are more "spiritually evolved" and those things just aren't important, they are full of BS and are deluding themselves. Everyone has bills, everyone has to work. I wouldn't seek material gain for greed, which is probably what those types mean, but me not being greedy doesn't mean I don't still have to pay rent.

If you can buy scratch cards, use these as a starting point. Pick a few totally at random, see the results. Then after a few weeks of wanting to pick winning ones, try again but look at each one and feel if it'll win.
You won't be a millionaire instantly but this can help with the rent
