Mohamed

Hi,

I am back from a rather long absence.  I have been browsing the forums for a few days now and finally decided to post something.  Those of you who do remember me know that I was successful in an OOBE and I wish to update you on my current position.

Currently I have lost all ability to project.  I re-programmed myself to forget the way the Astral body feels.  I remember being so fluent at it that I could feel the frequency at which my AB was vibrating; tuning in on that frequency enabled me to shorten its wavelength (kind of like moving from visible to gamma) allowing me the ability to move through the dense matter of my physical self.  Of course, that process is lost to me now and seems almost alien.

The main reason I quit was because I lost control.  I was projecting unconsciously, in inappropriate circumstances.  There would be nights where I had to wake up early to get to work and as soon as my head hits that pillow, I was out.  You may think that this is fine because the body is resting, but it isn't!  I did not want to project in the first place so the mood is off and I am thrown back in, resulting in sleep paralysis (a catatonic state of mind).  Soon enough the projections stopped, however the paralysis lasted months.  I carefully observed what was happening, the paralysis usually occurred after the first 90 minutes of sleep (during the first REM cycle).  Once I break out of paralysis I am forced to remain awake for 20 – 30 minutes or else just closing my eyes will force me back into paralysis.  I was honestly experiencing paralysis 2 – 4 times a night.

Eventually it started to fade away.  Soon it was 1 time every night, then 2 times a week and now it's all over; I can finally sleep freely and wake up normally; however, certain circumstances and a new level of curiosity has brought me back to astral realm.  I still remember the fanatic experiences I had while lucid in a dream and the amazing sense of perception in the RTZ.  I plan to start all over again and move through focus 3, 10, 12, 15, and 21 and hopefully have a better experience with it this time around.

I have two questions though, who amongst you have had similar experiences like my own?  Please share you experience and how you dealt with it so that we may all learn and better ourselves.  Also, of those who are successful, how many of you have actually left the atmosphere (in RTZ) and explored the vastness of space?  I am not asking for any place far, just far enough to be in orbit is all.

I tend to have heightened episodes of paralysis when my astral activity is at its highest.  I dont have anything against it because I have learned to use it to project, and have actually watched my astral body form above my physical one before separation.  I guess I cant help you out if you dislike paralysis and project so much that you dont want to when the opportunity arises!    :D   The thing that drew me to your post is that I am somewhat in the same process of retraining myself to project after about a month of struggling harshly to project.  I had a period of a week where I could do about what you said, just lay back, relax, slip down and out of my body and that was that, like I could just stick my hand out and pull back the curtain.  It all seemed to end as fast as it started and I have just recently had success again.  This morning I had my first successful attempt in 5 weeks thank god, and all I have to offer you in the way of advice is to just keep at it and it will come back to you!

Congratulations on your success knightlight!  I am relieved to hear that I am not the only one who experienced sleep paralysis.  I too am looking forward to using it as a method of projection.

Peace,
Mohamed

I have always fancied cruising round space and i have heard of some people who say they managed to visit the moon and check out the lunar landing sites and so on.

I have never managed this and i am actually a bit wary of those who say they have done so. Its not that its impossible, but it IS hard to tell if someone has actually left the earth and are actually flying through physical space or whether they have slipped into an 'astral' state without realising it. In which case they are only seeing what they want to see.

Its pretty difficult to know. I have tried it but I keep blanking out when I fly too high, I think there is still an ingrained fear factor about going out there into space! Too much Star Trek maybe!

PS It would be great to check out the surface of the moon or Mars however!

Something similar happened to me when I decided to stop trying for AP for a while.  I woke up one night and thought, damn, I'm awake, then I decided to try and go back to sleep and as I was drifting off, I got paralysis.  Something chronic.  Screeching noises, no movement, scared the hell out of me.  It happened on an off but not with such a painful severity as that first time but eventually it just faded off all together.
I don't know why but it kind of stopped after I started trying AP again.

Weird?
