When you guys project, do you sit in a chair or lay down?

Do you guys find one position is better/ easier to project from than the other?

I'm lying down in my bed, because I only project when I'm in bed, after a good nights rest.  :-)

beanbag chair!!!

Oh dude, that looks comfy.  LoL

Lately, I've taken to meditating on my recliner couch.  It's not quite lying down, so it keeps me comfortable, while being uncomfortable at the same time. LoL
If that makes any sense.

Now we're talking! I wanna get one of these! Full recliner with massage after a hard day! They should name it "Sit and Fly". It looks like an airport to me!

Recliner.  And that one  ^  looks cooler than mine.

Don't be too quick with the massage features...
If you're planning on using them WHILE you meditate, that's probably not the best idea as it would solidify your awareness on your physical body.  :)

I knew that you would say that!  :-D

Well for all cases there's a little button which turns off the massage features. So vote yes to massage, it might come in handy at other times.

Now how much does one of those babies cost? Must be about 1000 Euros or so(I'm European)

Is it maybe because a chick is sitting on it?

Dear Koyaanisqatsi,

I think it is worthy of mention that the energetic stimulations caused by massage can be reproduced by energy work more or less easily.

I am one, although I don't look like her.

Oops. Sorry there. No offense.

No problem, it happens to me all the time.  For the longest time my sig was "ps. I'm a girl" I figure I must have a strong animus, because most of the people that don't know me personally think I'm a guy.
I grew up with two brothers, could be why.

Koyaanisqatsi

Well the only clues anyone has in order to deduce that you are a guy is your nickname(neutral but not on the feminine side) and the way you write.

You have a very analytical way of writing you know that? I would bet my life you where a guy! Well, if it comforts you it's the second time something like this happens to me in a forum. The first time i was arguing in a forum with a woman and she argued like a guy! Difference is she wanted to be passed as a guy. In the end we became friends!

Point is, don't judge a book by it's cover.

I am sorry for the shortsighted attitude. Sometimes you have to be neutral regardless what feedback your intuition gives you.

I do so when laying in bed, whether it's on my side or on my back or stomach. The position does not seem to matter, at times though I seem to have quicker success when my head is turned to the right (not sure why). I have slipped out from time to time accidentally in my recliner though because it is so comfortable it's insane. I just bought it a month or so ago because it literally is the most comfortable recliner I have ever sat in. If I lean back and just relax sometimes I just slip out pretty quickly in it, most of the time it's unexpected but hey whatever works.

Do you tend to be a snorer?
If so, turning your head to the side keeps the snoring to a minimum.  This increases your airflow too.
Snoring tends to vibrate the physical body and keeps awareness locked there.  I have this same problem and tilt my head back a bit to open my airway a bit more.

I need a recliner so bad..

Bed.

I used to practice in a chair but it kept me too awake.

I had problems with the bed at first but I just kept at it and got over it.

I should mention though, that I've always had insomnia problems so I'm not as programmed to fall asleep as soon as I get in bed.  That should be considered.

And I don't project at night, usually in the afternoon or late morning.
be awesome.
