Hey guys...
sorry I'm new to all this so I will probably have a lot of questions.
Anyways, last night I was laying in my bed practicing my deep breathing an jut trying to be really relaxed. With every deep breath I took, I was imagining being filled up with energy. I got really focused on this and eventually felt this wave of heat and energy pass through me; I felt like I was spinning around really fast, or falling sideways. It was a cool feeling! However, I think I got too excited and lost my concentration and the feeling disappeared. Am I on the right track? How do I not get too excited and lose focus? Thanks!

Yes, that's definitely what you're looking for.

The breathing exercises help you meditate -- you focus only on your breathing and lose awareness of everything else.

Through practice, you'll find that you won't get as excited. The hardest part is actually to train yourself not to expect anything to happen -- the more you look forward to the next time you feel this wave of energy, the less likely it is that you will experience it again.

Make sure you concentrate on what you did and not on the result or expectations, this is the best way to progress.
