We think we can't return to our bodies? Strongly refuse to return?
Eventually you will return I know that, but if there was some way to extend the time it would be amazing. Since I've yet to project maybe one of you could try this out.
In my opinion, it's simply a matter of controlling your thoughts and emotions.
That's all.
Easier said than done, obviously.

the more experienced you are at projecting the longer you can stay out. As to the longest recorded stay in the astral in physical time, I have no idea. I've always wondered what would happened if you were projecting to f3 consciously and your physical body died. Would you even know anything happened as how can you transition to a focus you're already in? Would you simply begin where you were and simply not be able to "go back"?
What are you so worried about staying out longer first? You need to BE out of body to stay out longer in the first place.
lol jk, but yeah it would be nice. It really depends on lucidity too I usually just end up losing conciousness after some time
I'm curious if there is some way you could see how long you've stayed out.
Like get a video recorder and press play then astral project. When you come back see how long the video recorder was recording.
I think physical time and astral time can differ wildly. In Robert Monroe's books his physical time checks indicated maybe 2 to 8 minutes but it seemed to his projected self that he was away hours. Remember time-space doesnt exist in Astral focuses so the perception of time passing will almost certainly be different from the physical.
Actually, Robert Monroe figured out that after Focus 15 time ceased to exist.

Beyond which most of his experiences in his last two books took place :)
Is Focus 15 hard to get into? Be cool to see if a week in the astral is an hour here, via video recording.

I don't know really.
Frank always seemed to skip over it until he finally "figured it out".
I don't think it's Hard or Easy, per say...

Has anyone had much success using the Gateway series in this regard?
Staying out longer?
No.
Getting out faster?
Yes.
Lately, I've been using the BWGen program.
I created a nice preset that is one hour long.
It starts at 15hz and slowly, over 15 minutes takes me down to 4hz... then sits there for 30 minutes and then slowly increases the hz back to 15 over the span of 15 more minutes.
The minute the beats start hitting the 6 - 7 hz range, I'm generally already feeling the shifts.
I also have another one I made that is pretty much the same thing, but is two hours in length and the initial decrease down to 4hz takes 25 minutes.
~Ryan :)
I made a self-hypnosis track using a track from The Journeys Out of Body Hemi-Sync.
I layered it under a music track and then recorded my own self-hypnosis script for visualization to achieve OBE.
works nicely.
I'm not sure if what you're doing when you say "hypnosis", but self hypnosis sounds too scary for my tastes.
I don't want to hypnotize myself... just put my mind into a more receptive state for projection.
~Ryan
hypnosis = trance = meditation
you can do energy raising when your out to increase the amount of energy your astral body is holding that should make it easyer to stay in the real time zone for longer
:NoY:
if you have a image of a body . you can try spinning when you feel as though your about to lose that state
