On the new Skeptiko forum for those who might wish to read or participate.

The debate devolves into a terms and definitions issue around the tired and worn "when a dream is not a dream but is a dream" circularity.  It's remarkable how individuals who never had an OBE can be all so darn tootin, certain what one is.

Thank you for that link and welcome to the Pulse.

There are some very knowledgeable people there both skeptics and believers alike. The "believers" are getting trapped in the discussion that this is a phenomenon that can even be studied (much less verified) through scientific instruments.

I'm not saying that it can or can't but so far as we are led to believe, we do not currently have the technology to do so. This gives the skeptics the upper hand in their debate.

I know it's not a boxing match but treating it like one makes it far more entertaining especially since nothing useful will ever come of it. :-) :-)
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

:-D

Yes, much of Skeptiko is the entertainment of the boxing match and after a slug or two from my side of the ring, I bow out. I have neither the time nor interest to battle wits with folks who have no experience whatsoever in the OBE.
