Sometimes, and this is really wierd, I'll try to go to sleep and my head will shake violently left to right, when I close my eyes. Well, not my head literally, but it feels like someone is shaking my head left to right. Almost like an earthquake. It happens every so often, and I can't figure out if it has something to do with the third eye, or astral projection.

It happened before I got into psychic stuff so it's not in my head and I know it because it makes me so dizzy I have to wait like an hour until it wears off.

**I have never had any type of seizure problem. So it can't be that.

Plzzz help?

Summerlander

It could be physiological.  By the way, what sort of psychic stuff did you get into.  Give me the details.  What have you read, who did you see and speak to, what have you done etc. etc.

Well I've practiced candle reading for a long time and casting spells. (Some Witchcraft n stuff) But I decided to quit that about 2 weeks ago and started studying psychic info again. I took several tests and a lot of them told me I was psychic but needed to practice. I've been practicing on little games online that are like "Which is the next shape?" and stuff. Never ever did I practice black magic. I only did spells that were like good luck, or having the team at my high school win a game. Nothing big. I come from a family that is very skeptic and they don't believe in much but I have an open mind. Thats where the astral projection came in. I decided I wanted to get into that because I wanted to fly and go places and travel time. I won't lie, I do it mostly because it sounds cool. But other times I want to do it simply because I have nothing to do. And since my family doesn't have the money to go traveling all the time, I figured I could do this without anyone knowing and I would be satisfied with it.

I havn't spoke to anyone yet about it.  It's just at random the shaking happens. I want to know what it is because it didn't start happening until like a year ago.

This might be relevant to your situation, and might not

I used to see a girl and i slept over her house one night and i woke up in the middle of the night with her head moving left to right violently, i was like Ummmm lets get the f**k out of here!

I woke her up and i asked her what she was doing, and shes like "Oh i have a disorder where it makes me do it"

Maybe some sort of sleep disorder?

Neither has anyone else the first time they have a seizure. Can you instantly stop it happening if you try. If not then I'd see a doctor.

Btw summer are you a doctor? The more of your posts I see the more I wonder if you're a doctor or brain surgeon or something.

Not Vibrations-type shaking?

Actually yeah! It felt like somebody put two huge speakers on the sides of my head and rattled them.

Yes if I open my eyes it will stop but as soon as I get my eyes closed it happens again.

Is it a perception or is your head actually shaking?  Has someone else said this?

No I've had the experience when I had to sleep with my mom and another time with my aunt. They didnt say anything and my aunt is REALLY religious so she would know. But it happens every so often.

Pardon my interpreting your experience.. ;)
But it sounds like it was something you were perceiving.  It sounds like what you experienced were the vibrations.  :)

You think so? It was wierd I was so dizzy but I didn't know what AP was at the time. If I experience it again, I'll try a technique :)

Then I'm going to go with separation symptoms on this one.  I've had, besides the usual vibrations, buzzing, 'swimmy' sensations, and what can be described as strobing- side to side (as yours) and front to back (which is even more bizarre.)  I think I had that once or twice and never again- in clusters.
I asked an epileptic about it and he said that wasn't it- seizures usually make you unconscious of what happens, because it's the electrical activity in the brain that causes them.
I have exited with this, btw.

Hello.  My thoughts are parallel to CFTraveler.  It seems that you are having some chakra/energy body activity.  I'm guessing that your head is not really moving as much as it feels like it is.  That is, you will likely feel strong pulsing, strobbing, etc., even without movement.  Sometimes, if there is a lot of energy flow and blockages, there can be movement though.  I have not really had that when sleeping, but it makes sense that it could occur.  But, typically that movement is more subtle in feeling (i.e., not violent, but more like smooth/jerky).   As you indicate that you are dizzy afterwards, that also seems to suggest that you are getting a lot of energy activity up in the head area.  You can probably dissipate that feeling within seconds by taking steps to move energy downwards (e.g., to stomach or through feet).  You can do that by facing your hands towards your head and physicall/conceptually drawing energy down with your hands.  You might instantly feel your head get clearer when you try that.  That is a useful and common action to do when performing qigong or tai chi or doing other energy work that might make one's head wonky.

Orbital

Thank you. Feels like its moving but it's not. I put my hands on my head and it wasn't moving at all and I've told people about it and they can't it explain it either. I hope I have it again though, I want to attempt seperation.
