LOL.!  I cant beleive i forgot to say this but here i go. Concerning books and such. I'm aware that there are claims that beings from the astral have writen books throught the methode of channelling. if anyone knows of any books like those, please let me know, I've just heard of one called Silver Birch...

i assume you read astral dynamics? i heard william buhlman on art bell's show but have not read his books. he seemmed knowledgeable and straightforward.the monroe institute has some courses on tape/cd that are supposed to be good.Anyone hear of eckenkar? their whole trip was astral travel. it has been 20 years or so since i heard anything about them.

Dear "Shadow",

First of all, there is a great deal of information on the internet, some great and some not so great.  When it comes to books, Robert Bruce's "Astral Dynamics" is wonderful...and I see you have already discovered Robet Monroe whom many of us in this forum endearingly call "Old Man OBE".  

A great deal of books include information that is largely reflects certain New Age trends and therefore may lack some of that down to earth "practicality that has made Bruce's work so refreshing and respected.

When I have some more time I will post specific titles and links, ok!

I recently read William Buhlman's book Secrets Of The Soul. This is a good book dealing with the higher more spiritual meanings of OBEs and our spiritual evolution. If you are looking for a bookn on how to project I would suggest something else. If you are looking from something more from projecting then pick this book up. Good read.

Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

            OK!... Thx guy...  With deep regrets, I have not yet read Astral Dynamics. I dont have access to a credit card.  I know of no other way to get it. Hearing about the book has become a torture.  The praise and recomendations for this book are of the highest order. both of your are part of the growing number of people who praise his work. I have read stuff from Robert B. Like articles, excerts and such...but...

         Anyways i apreciate your posts and hope to hear from ya'll soon.

Hi,

You can read Robert's book, on the Astral Pulse web site. Look for "training guides". You will find more than enough to read until you have a credit card.

Robert's treatise on OBE as well as NEW energy are both availbale online and I would recommend reading them thoroughly at least three times each. About the book, I didn't check to see where you are from, but I know the book is available in many book stores and you can even ask your local library to order it...

Greetings fellow members.

         I'm assuming everyone here has an interest in OOBE. So how did this interest come to light for you all?...what has given you better understanding and knowledge. Most of you might have learned from books on the subject. Many other thing may have fueled your comprehension,  but i'd like to touch on the book aspect of our awareness towards the astral.

            Here's a list of most of the books i've read:
     - All tree books from Robert Monroe journeys to the astral.
     - Lucid dreaming kit from author Paul and Linda Deveraux
     -First book from carlos cass...

I have a few more books that i havent read yet because of time restrictions. It would be great if all of you could shair the books you've read and which one's were the most beneficial and recomended...
