I have brought about the vibrational state by thinking "I'm dreaming, now I want to do the monroe technique" and thinking of your physical body and the blackness that you see.  You know you are paralyzed and usually wake up just enough to allow you to induce the vibrations without slipping back in the dream again.  At one time I did 5 astral projection techniques, which all helped to keep the vibrations alive instead of fading out.  They eventually grew in intensity until I popped out of my body.

"How do I use dreams as a "springboard" into the astral?"

If you're dreaming, you're already in astral. All you need to do to do a normal astral projection from there is to become more aware of where you are and what you can do and make your dream body more solid. Easier said than done.

Everyones giving good advice, but I think the most important thing is to keep at it and practice!

One more advice:

Everytime before you are going to sleep, promise your self to have conciousness in your dream.

This induces Lucid Dreams most of the time. Then you can project into higher levels...

That's allright... I am OK. This happens every single day... It's all the same... But I am not blind!

Remember me? It's been a while.

Thanks for the advice on my previous topic. Especially to (I believe) jc84corvette? That book thing really helped. My views of AP have changed and I've learned to just let go. [Trying]AP doesn't take so much out of me anymore. I even get new sensations. Although I feel I am closer, I still have not made it. I have noticed some differences while dreaming. Normally when I become lucid, I can tell I'm dreaming and whatever. But now I find myself second guessing if I'm dreaming after I have become lucid.

I just have one question. How do I use dreams as a "springboard" into the astral? I can dissolve my dreams, but I can't project from them.
