Hey all, a long time ago I found this forum through a thing called Stumbleupon.com, anyway I just browsed the forum I didnt partake in any discussion and I became interested in OBE and Astral Projections.  I read peoples techniques and some experiences....  anyway, I was always a lucid dreamer so controlling my dreams, analyzing them etc was something I was already good at.

Of course after hearing about the OBE, I decide to give it a go, and the right situation arises.   I many times have dreamt about being locked in my bed, laying in my bed, not being able to push myself up, basically trapped in a dream like state with no movement, which you can imagine is very frustrating.  Its not frightening, because I know Im dreaming.  Anyway in this state I decide to practice a method I heard on this forum, about kind of rolling out of your body and off the bed.  I experience the immense "vibrations" talked about when actually doing this, it was very intense from what I remember.

Anyway my question is this, how am I supposed to believe that was an OBE, when it infact could have been a dream that took on its own life by me actually reading stuff on this forum?  Any advice, comments?

This question has been asked many, many times. If you do a search, you'll find a bunch of links with responses.

I'm going to lock this post since it is covered quite a bit in the most recent topic "is this an accurate chart of consciousness."  So if you want to post further questions, please do so to that thread.
