When your eyes flutter, it could be that you are "trying too hard". Lol :P That was actually a problem I had when I started...you try to force something to happen. IMHO I think to actually project, and do it well, you should relaxe and let things come naturally...Build up energy first using the NEW system or anything else that fits your fancy :D Then give it a shot again. Also, if you are getting vibrations you are almost there. RELAXE!...Stay alert...and concentrate on leaving..but make it natural...Im probably explaining this wrong =/ Blah.

I had the twitching problem a lot too.  In any OBE book, it will start with relaxation techniques.  Such as, flex your toes and hold for 10 seconds, then foot, then leg, etc.  It's time consuming and I like to skip it too, but sometimes it's worth it.  Try that, including flexing face muscles and eyelids, and the problem should go away.

Nice to meet you. :-) Welcome to the forum. :-)

I used to have that eye problem a lot and I still do sometimes. Try rubbing your eyes gently with your hands before meditating. Also, try some gentle NEW work in your third eye area. Swirling motion works best for me.

As for your legs, again, try some energy work (NEW). Check out the free manual on Robert's site. You won't regret it. :) :) :)

This happens to me when I try to project. Just keep practicing and it will get better. When I first started attempting AP, I was amazed that my eyes posed the biggest problem. They keep trying to blink (even though my eyes are closed), they flutter, they itch... it does get better, but it take A LOT of practice.

Hello everyone, this is my first post.

I've been working hard for a while now for an obe and I haven't suceeded yet.  Most attempts I think I'm getting there but my eyes flutter so much that I can't concentrate on what I'm doing.  When my concentration starts to slip my legs and feet start to twitch too and I end up giving up.

Does this happen to anyone else? If so do you have any suggestions to stop it or ignore it?  Could it be because I'm letting myself tense up when the vibrations start? I do feel a bit excited but I try to just go with flow instead of letting it ruin everything.
