I've been Attempting AP for the past 22 days and find myself losing some motivational momentum. I assume is from a lack of progress, but also from the loose eclectic technique I've been assembling and using. The introduction of a new technique hopefully will re-spark interest, but my problem is what to pick. :|

Are mid day techniques more difficult for entry level AP? Would it be better to adopt a method that demands waking up in the night or should I continue with a mid day process? I imagine that a method routed in between sleep cycles would yield a closer relationship to purely mental states, but I would like to have some insight! :-D

As you wake is the most successful time to practice.
It scores at 80% when compared to other times.
Last thing at night being the worst time.
Midday has been successful many times, it helps to have the correct mindset at all times.
Fear, doubt and when nearing success there's many distractions to halt your progress.
If you learn what to expect the journey is easier.
Have a read of the links for an example, there's plenty of info on site, finding what suits you would be a great start if nothing so far appears to be successful.

There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Who Am I

everybody is different. experiment and find what works for you. your body is unique and functions in a unique way, is what I learned anyway.

what I do is... go to sleep an hour after coming from work. so many around 6:30 or 7pm. wake up automatically 3 hours later. stay away 2-4 hours. go back to sleep. almost a guaranteed to AP. or some days I'd wake up on the weekend, and fall back asleep to nap a few hours later I would OBE. it rarely works if I just go back to sleep after waking or even 10-30 mins later like some suggest.
