If this "obe discutions" you speak of is actually "OBE discussions", that's where we are currently, and I don't appreciate your insult, Chris.  [B)]

It's fine Chris, I merely misunderstood you.

chupacabra

so when you come back into the body, can you visualize that color you never saw before?

Not neccessarily, Chupacabra.  This goes back to my point that things seen in the spiritual realm are sometimes beyond human conception.  This simply means that it is a totally foreign thought, and can not be brought back materialistically.  For example, think of the five senses that human beings have.

  • touch

  • smell

  • taste

  • hearing

  • seeing

Wow, that was easy.  We all know about the five senses (or at least I'd think).
Now I want you to imagine an alien race.  This alien race is completely different from the human race in the aspect that they have five totally different senses.  Could you even imagine what one of the senses would be described as?  Hmm, nor could I.  We're only familiar with the senses we've been given, and we know nothing else.
If our sense of seeing was replaced with a different sense, the actual thought of seeing being a sense would be obsurd to us.

Back on track...

Being able to think clearly of an unknown color seen in the spiritual realm would be virtually impossible.  When I say virtually, that means almost entirely[B)]Insert.  With much personal reflection and constant seeing of this foreign color, it may be possible that it be created in the physical.  Given our color scheme, it is very unlikely, but the description of the color would be genius to even begin to understand.

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but when OBEing, there are a lot of things that are slightly out of place.  Sure, some of these things are things that we see in a normal everyday life.  However, a few of them are just so un-ignorably out of place.  For example, you will see things that you normally could not conjure up in your conscious mind.

"Wow, look at that thing, it's going through the other thing while connected to all the other things!  It's also a color of which I have never seen before in my life."

Now, for many of you, that was hard to pick up.  This simply demonstrates what the human mind does not have the ability to understand.  Things can be seen while OBEing that you've never seen before, or even thought of for that matter.  The spiritual realm that we cannot currently see holds many great wonders which the average person ( who I am stuck with everywhere I turn ) does not understand.
So many things could be invented with knowledge of what is seen there.
Inventors, and geniuses alike could use the spiritual realm to help them create endlessly.  Which leads me to my next point (oh boy).
I believe that when we spontaneously think or create ideas, we are indeed catching a glimpse of the spiritual realm with our subconscious.  Sure, this could be a very innacurate hypothesis, mainly because one thought leads to another.

"Gee, if I took this, and made something that worked like it, then took the thing I made and connected it to another thing I made, life would be so much easier!"

That is usually how invention works.  However, somewhere in history, an idea or two were spontaneously put in someone's mind.  Most comedians and such come up with their ideas from the hypnagogic, or sleep for that matter.  While they are sleeping (this does not pertain to the hypnagogic), they are totally unaware that they are dreaming until they awaken.  Yet, they use these ideas which they dreamt, and apply them to real life.  If you think of it from the prospective of someone who OBEs, ideas can be recognized, all while in control.  If people can derive ideas from dreams, imagine what could be taken from an OBE.

I'm sure a few of us in here have gotten a few ideas from OBEs.  I myself have seen a few things that inspire me to actually go out and buy materials to create this "sculpture" that I saw.  This sculpture that I saw was a shelf with candles, and small figures on it.  I remember very few of these figures, simply because they were more than my mind could conceive.  Apply it this way:

You go to a home decorations show and see many different designs that inspire you to copy this idea, just because it was something you had never thought of before yourself.

Change it to:

You go to a personally unexplored region of your own spiritual trip.  You see something that is so complex and creative, that making it in reality would be one heck of a good idea.  Though remembering what it was exactly you saw would be tough (as it is something too complex to imagine while in the physical), but you are sure that making it would only lead to more ideas.

The next time you OBE, look for small things like mentioned above.  For some of us, we see things that are not usually there in the physical.  For others, they just see all that is normal.  They see nothing that is not usually there.  I would suggest practicing your memory skills, and listing down ideas for sculptures, devices, etc.
Heck, we may even be able to make a seperate room on this forum about "OBE ideas."

This is not a demand, this is only a suggestion.  So much creativity could come from actually listing and writing down what is seen in the spiritual.  Some of these ideas that are listed could then be combined, in order to make certain things that go beyond human conception.

If you are asking me, of course, I am somewhat crazy.  It has brought me knowledge though, and I'm glad I'm eccentric in that sense.  Thank you for reading, if indeed you didn't just skip to the bottom to see my last sentence.
