FourDegrees

Hi guys, this is my first post on the forum but I'm trying to figure out what happened last night.

Lately I have been researching about astral projection because I would like to work on making it happen. Last night was my first time attempting just a simple breathing exercise while laying on my bed. I had my eyes closed and was taking deep breaths in, then out. I continued to do this and tried to focus as much as I could. After a while of just breathing, certain parts of my body started to shake. This continued into what felt like all the muscles in my body were shaking and it wasn't me doing it. When I didn't focus it became less intense but when I did it was steadier and a more intense shaking. I'm thinking this didn't have to do with the an AP and was just my mind telling me I wanted to have these "vibrations." I thought I'd share this with you guys and was hoping someone could tell me what was going on?

Hey FourDegrees, love the nic btw. :) and welcome to the forums.

It sounds like what I call "chasing rabbits" :D  The whole twitching of body parts...which reminds me of watching my dog (when he was still alive) and hubby while sleeping, not to mention what I get often while meditating.  Not to worry, just a normal thing, either caused my energy flowing, astral double,  or.....something.

I just know that my hubby can get into this state three minutes after closing his eyes to go to sleep which takes me ten minutes. grrrrrrr.

Sounds like you are doing great!  Try and ignore the bouncing of body parts and go with the flow.  You will be very surprised where you end up. :)

Take Care,
Nay

Thanks for the reply, was just really shaken up, no pun intended :) I'm gonna keep trying.

Hi FourDegrees

I'm experiencing the same thing, but mostly in my hands.  I think it is a part of astral projection, we're supposed to experience "vibrations" which spread through our bodies before we separate... that's what I keep reading anyway.  Problem is, my vibrations don't ever seem to move from my hands.

How long were you lying there?

PS: Hmmm... would the name FourDegrees have anything to do with the Tool song by the same name?

€,

I'm not quite sure how long I was laying there; could have been 10, 15, or 30 minutes, I'm not really sure. The shaking started in my legs and arms and then went all throughout my body.

Yes, my name is pertaining to the Tool song :)
