Brave decision spastral

But as a person who's been there, meditation self reflection isn't usually enough. There is only so much you can do for yourself, and only so far you can go alone.

I have used the Attacking anxiety and depression program from Lucinda Bassit and it works. I am 110% better. Check it out.  www.attackinganxiety.com/

It has a 30 day money back policy. During that time I made a copy of the tapes for a friend who was also in need but very poor.

Also if you look on the net there are a lot of support groups that are free. I've attended a few of them myself, and it is helpful and healing to be near someone with the same problems, so you can talk openly and from the heart.

You might choose a group according to what issues might have hurt you from the past. Whether it's alchoholism/abuse/incest there is a group for each one of them.

I was surprised to find how many of my thought and behavior patterns originated from my parents- rather than from me.

Anyone who think's they are "over" their childhood traumas just isn't examining their life closely enough. There is much for all of us to "re-learn."

Thanks for the antiaxiety link Leyla.

Good luck with that Spastral. I have had severe exhaustion also and am now seeking therapy (regression therapy) as well as medical help. With mega nutrient therapy and herbs my integrative doctor has pulled my adrenals back in order, and brought my bursitis and neck pain under control too. He is next attacking my headaches (after having done neurotransmitter tests to look at the chemical imbalances) with a combination of 5-HTP and L-tyrosine.

I feel that between natural mega nutrient therapy and the emotional therapies, that these are the absolute healthiest methods to employ to get yourself back together. They are safe, non addictive and non-toxic.

Wishing you light and help on your healing journey Spastral.

SPASTRAL

Hi all,

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the anto depressants thread.  It was very helpful to me and has assisted in making my decision:

I will not take the AD's - I have them safe at home and will try for the next 2 months to get things sorted out using meditation and relaxation as part of my self help therapy.  I hope to get things that are troubling me sorted and see if that has an effect on me, or if I was just born to be a "high one minute, looooow the next" type person.

I know for some people, they are the only way forward, but my gut instinct is telling me to persevere without them.

I am sure there are other people out there feeling down, constantly tired etc and are contemplating taking AD's; I would like to invite people to share more of thier experiences.  This might help people see the TRUE pros and cons....

I know this is an AP site, but I feel this would provide a service to a few and helping people, no matter where we are is important (not to mention I don't know of a "should I take AD's" web forum!!!)

Thanks again,
Spencer
