Hey guys all of my recent obes I've been having I seem to have trouble recalling them when I wake up. I guess that's because I've been having trouble having good awareness during the experience.
In my 2 most recent obes I've said "clarity now" with not much success where as it used to improve my vision significantly in the past. If saying that doesn't work I usually end up having this great sensation of me feeling dizzy and I can barely stand. A strong wind will usually come and knock me off my feet. This mornings experience I was on my deck in my backyard and I didn't say clarity now, but I said "I'm in the non physical and in my backyard" Then my deck started to flip upside down and I ended up on the grass beneath it and the wind blew me around my yard til I woke up. It's very hard for me to hold awareness while I'm being blown around like this and when I wake up I usually don't have that excitement of having an obe and don't bother writing it down because I can only remember bits and pieces.

Anyway I guess the lack of recollection is due to the lack of awareness during the experience.
And this wind thing just started, but it's happened in my last 2 obes. It might just be because of my physical body waking up
Also I've always had trouble flying higher than 10 - 15ft off the ground. If I start on the ground and jump i usually float back down to the earth.

Bits and pieces of memory recall is better than none. Bit and Pieces will soon become lengthy paragraphs with practice.
Two things you need to do here:
1. Try to program yourself before you go to sleep with a simple command, like "I will remember my OBE/Lucid Dreams". This will help you greatly.
2. Write down all of your experiences, no matter how small or trivial they may appear at the time. You normally have 1 minute to do this after awaking, so be quick. You will see this this type of Brain Entrainment will really help. Don't try to make any sense of what you are writing just yet. Go back to your book after about a week or even a month and then try to analyze it.

I second what Lionheart said about programing your thoughts before falling asleep. This works extremely well. And try to hold the thoughts of your goal as long as you can before passing out. Let your brainwaves transition with thoughts running. This is the most effective way to keep your consciousness awake for OBE attempts, but also for accomplishing and remembering what do you want to accomplish during an OBE. In your case I would suggest to say to yourself "My consciousness is fully awake. I remember my projections and easily navigate the experience."
"The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem."

Greetings justin35ll
I can empathize with your situation as I have lost MANY OBEs due to bad recall. It's a shame to wake up with an excited feeling knowing that an important OBE happened during the night but then be unable to recall anything except only small fragments. Unfortunately it Does happen.
About the flying difficulties. Maybe you are trying too hard. Begin the flight by standing at the top of some stairs or on a wall. Then just levitate up a few feet and float above the ground for a few seconds. Then gradually increase height and speed. That will help you focus and should work most of the time.

Good Luck  :-)
