What kind of camera do you use? Digital cameras are BAD for  finding orbs. They tend to be so good at seeing thigns your eyes don't, that they capture all sorts of dust when the flash is on. This will look like orbs.

Also, can you use a different format? JPG distorts the image.
I need a signature that isn't stupid. :/

BOATS

These photos were all taken with a Kodak disposible.  The photos were taken on two seperate occations. All the photos I have taken are with disposible however I was looking into purchasing a digital to see the results.

Risu,

I have had some success with a digital camera. I get no orbs in my place, but a friend of mine has a very active house, and we get orbs in just about every picture. But I do agree, sometimes digital does pick up too much. If you want, I can post them.

BOATS,

The 8th pic is very cool, tell us what the investigators find!

interesting, do you have the negatives on you?

BOATS

yes I have the negitives and the ORBS and energy patterns are on then as well. Also as to the energy patterns in the bedrooms no lights were on.  I had to look closely myself as I thought it was caused by the ceiling fan light but it was off.

manuel

very interesting, about the negatives, is the orbs especialy that realy red one in the second pic, contained within the frame of the negative or does it bleed into from the groove holes on the negative? i ask this to make sure it isnt light entering the back of the camera, cool stuff man :)

BOATS

No it's on the negitive.  The pale image is the hall wall.  I was confused by that myself when I first saw the image. I can take the ORBS but the energy immages are more conserning, actially I hope they are just film abnormalities. If they are development errors wouud they be on the negitives also.

BOATS

Anyone attempting or successful at OBE I would sugest taking photos of your home for ORBS.

Stillwater

What part of these photos are you citing as the ORBS? Is it the red-orange distortion found first in photo two, or the points of light dispersed throughout many of the others?

Thank you,

I´m still curious about the scientific explanation for this specific kind of orbs. Scientists have an explanation (wrong or right, doesn´t matter, they explain everything) for anything: obes? Ohhh...that´s just lucid dreams; ufos?aha aha easy one: spacial dust...etc.

Now, what is the official version for this moving orbs? I have photos (my house it´s a little old...maybe 80 years) of many orbs on my house. I even have some sequencial photos in wich is possible to see that they are moving. I will not expose this photps here because they have my family members and they could be upset with me.

What the hell could be this orbs? Spirits? Angels? Aliens?

I love you!

Stillwater

How do these ORBS appear to move? Do you tack them in photos over a period of several years? Do the translocations occur in photos taken seconds apart? And more importantly, what do you judge them most likely to be- reflections of particels or shiny surfaces, deformities in the film/camera, or genuine unexplainibles?

Thank you,

There are many sites on the Web of investigators photographing ORBS at so called haunted sites.  I have seen vidio of some the move down halls and seem to have an intellengence to there behavior.  The orange and yellow photos would be move like a vortex of unexplained energy pattern.  In the photos you have to look close ORBS are circular.

Stillwater

Thank you my friend, you have answered my question; and, I shall say you have now captured my fancy- where might I see explanation of this phenomena on the web?

Thank you,

I hate to say this, but did you ever think about the fact that photographic film is a very sensitive medium? MINISCULE amounts of light can create very wierd effects on it. Your first few (with the orange blob) are typical of what happens to film during a light leak. In other words, the guy who developed that camera screwed the film up and exposed it to light very briefly, or the film was faulty when you got it. I've seen it before and thats what it looks like. Now the orbs...I never quite got this one. Noone has ever heard of lens flare? Look at your pictures...many of them are in a dim room with a bright light source in the center (window or object reflecting sunlight). The orbs seen in these pictures vary in brightness in direct proportion to the light source in the picture! Duh...classic lens flare. Sorry guys...I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble. I myself love to AP and I fully believe its real, but this orb stuff is not. I know what I'm talking about here, and what you have is leaked light artifacts and lens flares.

Yeah, this was the alternative explanation that came to me as well, but in the end I cannot comment. Perhaps, I say, perhaps...

Ghost investigative team was at my house last night with digital cameras and same ORBS captured.

Manix

Does anybody watch the sci-fi channel during the day? They run marathons all day of the same show. This week was paranormal investigations or something, not a fictional show. I cuaght part of one show where this woman in San padro ? CA was being huanted by a poltergiest (sp?). She had a team investigate the house. What they cuaght on camera was disturbing; Orbs. She had photos of them that professional photographers could not explain. Each looked like a small round ball of light. They emitted their own light source and even cast shadows on each other. The team cuaght these things on film even though they couldn't see them with the naked eye. They were simply moving too quickly. What they saw when they slowed the film down were the same orbs flying around the room, through objects, people, outside, everything. They did not look like film goofs as they seemed to fly on their own unique paths. They showed up in all the films no matter what the light source. It was very interesting and made me think of this thread.
They followed the woman when she moved. When they talked to the ghost on a ougii board they asked it how many spirits were there. It said, "Phantoms fill the air around you." Was kind of creepy as I buy into that stuff a little too easily.
"Doohicky" "thingie", "thingamajigger" and "what'sit" are all commonly accepted engineering terms these days. Impress your boss and use more than one in a sentance... Major brownie points!

I just like the ghostly images in the far right of the sixth picture. Near the ceiling fan. Heh. Your dog is cool too.

As for orbs, well, it sort of makes sense that a person's spirit form would be comprised of a single round ball. Whether orbs are real or not doesn't really matter I guess if they don't affect you very much.

What I'd like to do is get a psychic into a heavily orbed area and see what happens when they for instance try to make the orbs leave or what have you. But whatever,

Creepy stuff!

Hi BOATS and thanks for all the great stuff!  It is really exciting to see something like this going on.

I have to admit that I also wondered about this as a possibility.  Leaked light, and lense flairs do cause this type of distortion.  But that typically happens on the first few, or last few pics on a given roll.  Not throughout the roll.  So that made me wonder about the possibility that perhaps there might be something else here.  Also check out the other link that BOATS provided.

There are way to many faces and animals in the pictures there to be light leaks.

Again thanks BOATS and keep us posted with what the experts say.

P.S.  I have been over surfing on the Quantum Metaphysics site and there is much discussion about the fact that there are many different dimensions.  We live in the fourth dimension.  Science has proven up to six dimensions and have hard evidence that there are as many as ten or more.

What do you think people, could these ORB's be actual beings from a different dimension, and not just sprits or ghosts?

Could it be possible?

I got a digital camera a few days ago and have been photographing ORBS like crazy.  If I had not been getting these with the prior film I would take the digital back to the store as I would have thought it was defective.  Also I have discovered after talking to a neighbor that a woman did in fact die in my home about 15 years ago.

Those photos are really cool...especially the pretty coloured ones. :)
