Put it this way, if you mistake them for a cramp, then it wasn't the "vibrations" that you're looking for.

In fact, I'll take it one step further.  If you are looking at every slight change your body goes through during your relaxation, you will NEVER get the vibrations.

Why?  Because they actually come when you stop fixating on the body and turn your focus away from it.

then again i thin they were vibrations. just that i was wondering how to make them bigger and spread. they went to my eyes then i ocouldnt hold them :(

In general, if you wonder if what you feeling are vibrations, then you can be almost 100% sure that they are NOT.  Projection vibrations, for a beginner at least, hit with the intensity of an oncoming train.  They cannot be confused with much else.  

"Slight" buzzing or tingling sensations are not projection vibrations, and there is no way to focus on them to make them "spread" into projection vibrations.  In fact, if you focus too much on the tingling/buzzing you will lose your sense of purpose, and botch your projection experience entirely.

When practicing, you will feel (and sometimes hear) many things. Tingles, little itches on your body, pops, voices in your head, a woozy floaty feeling . . . any and all these things, plus some, are normal.  Acknowledge them, and then - THIS IS IMPORTANT - forget about them entirely.  Your focus needs to remain on your awareness and your Intent to project.

In short . . . stay on the main path, don't get distracted by the side routes to nowhere.  Thoughts such as "is this it?" cause you to lose the relaxed state that is CRITICAL to a successful projection.

i was listening tothe sounds in my ear. the buzzingy sound which i made louder. then concentrating on somehting in the room while doign this,

ok, ive been trying all day and my first real progress has started. I was in the trance state and started to picture my astral self sliding out of my body through my feet. and after that i had this floating/levetation feeling start at my feet and it kept going up my body. I looked to see what happend and it all ended. I have 2 questions, 1) how close am i to completing it, and 2) how will i know when it is safe to look around me without  losing it, or is it not even possible to actually open your eyes and look around and see your own body in bed

Insert i just projected by acccident i never even know what Astral or Etheric projection was never even heard about it and it just happend because i didnt try i was just relaxed and it happend so maybe your trying to hard every think about that? [:)]

woohoo i think im getting somewhere. i think mthe vibrations are starting.. i think.
the other day after getting relaxed and everything i concentrated on a different part of my room and listening to the buzzing in my ears. my head started feeling a bit weird as if it was pulling in the directin of he thing i was thinking. then  a slight shakey vibration started in the back of my head and spread downwards to my eyes but then after a while i lost it. is this correct and was this a proper vobration? how do you make it spread. im sure i automatically started tensing my legs etc.. :P
