Second OBE

Hullo again, just figured I'd let you know about this. I had an episode of sleep paralysis just a while back, first one in about a month. I had my eyes open and was seeing flashing white images of what was around me while I was laying on my side, facing the wall. It was going between what I would normally see in the dim room (the wall, bit of the window, and blankets) and a white view of the same.

I watched this for a bit, probably less than ten seconds, and decided to try to sink out to see if it was any easier than rolling. I saw a line of black in my view, may have been the blankets; I have no way of telling, and promptly found myself facing the headboard and jammed in between my bed and the wall, with my back to the wall. In reality, the bed is right up against it, so I may have been half in the wall and half in the bed, can't say though, it was confusing at the time.

After this happened, I woke up, knew that I had a thing of SP, and nearly forgot about having the OBE. Like I said, it was very confusing at the time and muddled. I'm glad that I remembered about it though.

Has anyone else had the slowly flashing view like that before?

Hmm, I've seen the flashing 'lightning bolts' down my legs and across my waist upon separation.  Was it a spinning (room zoom) type of flash?

Nope, it wasn't spinning. It was like there was a superimposed image of what was in front of me, except bright white at certain parts. It probably flashed in and out on parts, but it was fairly confusing and I still don't have a clear picture of how it moved. I know that it wasn't like lightning bolts, though, it would've stuck out.

When I've seen the rest of my body when things like this have happened before, only the parts that were disconnected slightly showed up.

-Edit-

Had a third session of OBE's while is SP again, a few nights ago. Never got fully out, just kept rolling to the side and kept finding myself back in. Did this a bunch of times before I either dropped into another dream for a bit or forgot what I was doing.

Fascinating!  Maybe It was a combination between real and astral site that you were experiencing during transition??

Cool, you had another one!  I think that maybe the ones that disolve quickly mean we have less energy to sustain them?

-Edit-

Actually, I just laid down to take a nap after posting this.  Got the vibes and started to separate, when I saw some light flashes.  After I woke up I noticed some of today's afternoon sunlight casting light 'squares' through the window and on the wall next to me.  Was your OBE during the daytime (you said your room was normally dim though)?

-lines-

Nope, it was night, but a bit of light comes in through the window from the streetlights outside. Yeah, I've noticed that most people OBE with their eyes closed, but for three times I've had it, it's been with my eyes opened.

I've only seen that flashing in the second time, the only time I've seen something similar was when I was seeing outlines while trying to induce a conscience one with my eyes closed.
