Was this my first OBE?

Okay, so the story is that yesterday, around 1:00 AM, or later, I was by my shelf, talking to my hamster. All of a sudden, I lost my eye sight and I saw flashes of blue, green and red. And while that was happening, I heard a car crash ( It was fairly quite loud), I felt as if the world was spinning. Could this possibly be the start to a OBE? Or could this be a health issue?  :? After I willed everything to stop and go back to normal ( It did about 4 seconds later ) I felt a bit dizzy, and dumbfounded. :(help. Also, I just  had a death in my family, so is it possible that it could be just stress, or my grandpa ( who died ) Trying to pull me into the spiritul world?

Were you up and about,  or lying down?  If you were up and about I recommend you see a medical practicioner.  Your symptoms can be many things, some of them dangerous.

I was standing, but not walking around & I was lying down for about 3 hours..before I got up.

no pain whatsoever. I dont  have any illnesses or anything either.

It still scares me, and let me tell you why: The usual exit symptoms (astral noise, etc.) happen when your body is alseep or close to the sleeping stage, while your brain adjusts it's frequency (from alpha to theta to delta (I missed one, I know, atm can't remember) but the suddenness of your symptoms suggest to me that you lost consciousness if only for a moment, and that could be as harmless as response to stress, but it could also have been:
the beginnings of a migraine (but you didn't have a headache)
a transient ischemic attack (mini-stroke)
a mini-seizure
or some other vascular event in your head that I don't know enough to categorize-
It could be nothing, your grandpa saying 'bye'-
But I would feel really bad if something happened to you because I didn't tell you to go to a doctor.
Please play it safe!

I'm not disabled in anyway either, I can think properly and talk and all that whack. I dout it was a stroke though. But I'll look forward to seeing a doctor asap.  :-) Also, I'm only 13 so... hmm.

I was, infact, playing video games for 3 hours. but This is the first time that that thing happened. And I never fell when this happened. I was still standing.

What game were you playing? Were you by any chance "playing the game in your head" at the time?

Cause it's actually possible to have an OBE while wide awake -- you'll experience the mind split effect, where your physical self is there minding its own business, and your non-physical self exits the body. When the non-physical comes back, you get two sets of memories for the same time period.

Spontaneous OBEs like this can happen during the day, you could be reading a book, driving, walking, doing anything repetitive and automatic.. All it takes is a lapse in attention, focusing inwards too much, and "pop" -- you're on the other side.

But as CFTraveler said.. Could be a health issue.

One thing that bothers me though is... What would a doctor say? Would they try to prescribe antipsychotics, or would they have you take an expensive cat scan? If it's really a health issue, it's good, but if it's a science-defying OBE, you'll probably get misdiagnosed with some mental disorder or something :S

Zelda, which I was concentrating hard to beat a enimie in the game, if that has a affect. And no I wasn't playing the game in my head. And I do remember, just standing there talking and looking at my hamster, when all of a sudden 'that' happened.  :-) And I do, infact, remember being in 2 places at the same time, 2 things happening at once.
