The key to dream interpretation is your own symbolism.  ie; what does a vampire mean to you?  Apart from the blood sucking which might refer to a loss of your energy but not necessarily through negs, could be people making too many demands on your time.  Maybe your subconscious is trying to tell you that you need to see a dentist?  Maybe it's trying to tell you to get some proper sleep?  So many issues the dream might be trying to point out, but only you can figure out what it is...

I used to dream that my husband was a vampire.  A sexy, compelling one, but a vampire nonetheless.  One day I woke up to the fact that he was draining me to the point where I had absolutely no energy.  

One day I found myself on the floor in the corner of a empty spare room in our big expensive house, a room that I'd for some  reason insisted be painted blood red.  I was spending a lot of time in that red room, shut off from my husband and small child.  I was not a very good mother then.  

He went on an extended business trip many miles away, and my energy "magically" returned.  Suffice it to say, we separated soon after that, but stayed friends and neighbors and raised our beautiful daughter together.  Three years later he filed for divorce.  

This man is single and attractive, makes good money - - - on the surface he's quite the "catch."  But I know I cannot ever live with the man or be too close to him.  Psychic vampires are beautiful, but deadly.

Listen to your dreams!  They are telling you something.

Ok this is my first post so I'll do a quick introduction:

I'm 27 years old and from the UK.  I have always had an open mind regarding all kinds of paranormal.  UFO's, Ghosts, OBE's etc.  I actively investigate and learn all I can regarding these topics.  I have read Astral Dynamics and am just starting Practical Pschic Defence.  I have had 1 short OBE (which I'll discuss another time in another post) and numerous lucid dreams.  However recently this has all stopped which brings me to the point of this post.  I've been following these boards for a while but I am more of a lurker than a poster

My lucid dreams in the past always come whilst I am sleeping normally.  I have taught myself to reality check whilst I am dreaming and this, although still fairly hit and miss, has been quite succesful for me.  I do not normally remember my dream until the automatic reality check reflex kicks in.

In the last two weeks I have had three instances where I have reality checked and realised that I was dreaming.  In all three, as my brain becomes aware I realise that I am dreaming about vampires, and this gives me such a start that I wake up immediately.

I guess my question is what does this mean?  Is it possible that these are negs or could the images be telling me something else?  I've tried to find details of what vampires mean within dreams but have been unsuccessful  

Any advice would be appreciated.
