Hi guys, I'm posting here because there's nobody in my real life I can discuss this with that understands spirituality. I'd like to think I am spiritual and I am trying to be closer to my guides and the divine in general.
For the last week, something has been happening to me and im pretty sure it's not sleep apnea because it only happens once per night. I wake up in a terrible fright as if I was dying. Today was the height of it.
I was in a dream doing...dream stuff :) (eating a chocolate cake yummy) with someone I perceived to be a good friend of mine. He was quite a bit larger than me. Then all over sudden, I said "I guess it's time." This entire time I was gradually becoming more and more lucid but I wasn't "fully" aware.
I then felt like I was back in my body but trying to/did lift...not more than an inch or so above it. I was beginning to experience some intense...i really don't know how to describe it but it was painful and not pleasant. And my it was intense.
I felt like suddenly I was a person who had kept his eyes closed for much much too long that was trying to see. Like when you wake up in the morning and things are really fuzzy. Kind of like that, in fact everything was a murky yellow. I kind of realized that I was still physically asleep and I wasn't really seeing with my actual eyes. At that point the intense knot in my forehead was intolerable and I immediately forced myself awake.:(
What's happening to me? I do want to be closer to god (and deeply love my spiritual family) and I pray every day because I really really want the divine in my life. I meditate once in a while. This new stuff has me confused though :?. Im not sure how to interpret it. Not to mention it's generally either frightening or painful.
The one good thing out of it i guess is that i've been having dreams that are able to predict my immediate life. Have warned me and actually saved me $1,200 haha.
It's hard to say exactly what's going on, but to me it kinda sounds like your brow chakra was extremely active. When I started working on "seeing" (clairvoyance), I used to get intense pressure in my brow, sometimes even headaches, so I think I know what you're talking about there. I used to "see" a murky yellow sometimes when in the process of falling asleep or when I first wake. The more it happened, it started going from solid color to objects, scenes, and landscapes, and lasting longer and longer.
For me, at the beginning, sensations tended to be very intense in pressure, pulsing, or vibration, and it can be very spooky. The more they come on, the more the sensations would mellow out or go away completely. Energy work (NEW) also helped a good bit with uncomfortable pressure.
