Hey Astral Pulse. I wanted to make this topic. ESPECIALLY for people who have tried dozens have techniques and nothing is working great for you.

I had another experience last night. Low awareness but it was an experience to say the least. I am going to break this down into three parts. It's so easy. I went back to the drawing board... I figured out what I been doing wrong. You see... When I first learned about OBE's, I read about them, how to induce them etc. What stopped me from having them was actually TRYING TO HARD. Let it come to you!

1. INTENT
This is huge. I had my first projection within 3 weeks. The first week I had the falling sensations and the racing heartbeats etc but it scared me. So fear didn't allow me to progress. I wanted it so bad I kept going at it. Jumping the things that did scare me. (which now excites me) If you WANT this you must have intent and the will to be patient. This is not going to come overnight. It's a lifestyle change I strongly believe. Want it, and cherish every experience you have. Even if you didn't have an OBE. Maybe you got really far into the hypnagogic state or something. Be proud of that!

2.MEDITATION
Quieting the mind is essential. Becoming one. Stop worrying about the physical when you do this. Toss all problems aside and tell yourself you can go back to them tomorrow etc. But in the mean time just become one. There are MANY meditations you can do. I find meditation helps me tremendously. Use binaural beats if you wish, but only as training wheels. They won't do you any good if you can't learn to just let go and quiet the mind! The beats are more like a tool you can use to help you, but if you just think the beats are going to do it for you automatically you will get nowhere.

3.RELAX. Just simply relax. Think about OBE's... how great it would be to have one... what you want to do when you get out... and stretch every muscle in your body. Starting at your feet working your way up. Or any way you want to do it. Tense each muscle group for about fifteen seconds each and feel all the tension just go away. Face muscles... Everything. Relax your eyes. Blink a few times, and stretch them if you wish. Relaxing is HUGE. I can't stress enough how important it is. (for me)

Really when it boils down to it... you can use techniques and all of that stuff... but I find if you just allow it to happen, and simply have the intent to do so... You will start having experiences.  :-)

Really hope this helps some folks out. It really is that simple. I was going through a major dry spell. I was trying to hard. Just let it happen.

It goes without saying, you have to let this happen, it can't be forced.

AC, if the above is what youve found for yourself then excellent work. This type of preparation has been known for a long  time too.
Sylvan Muldoon said similar about 100 years ago. Others before him.
All beginners should take note. It is simple.

It's just so great I have gotten off of my dry spell. I am meditating at least once a day for about an hour and do some positive thought stuff before bed as well. It really helps.  :-)
