Title: Turn off left brain, turn on right to AP?
Post by: PlasmaAstralProjection on August 31, 2010, 14:49:42
Two questions.
I have noticed that I can seemingly view the world from my right brain. By simply looking at things in a more holistic, panoramic view point. I would think that this could help AP. What are your thoughts?

Also I would think that using your imagination would help AP also. Which is also a right brain trait. Any thoughts on that?

I've referenced this author quite a few times already, but he seems to be a good psychological researcher when i comes to acknowledging the "split" in the human brain and the tendencies of each hemisphere.

Look into Stan Gooch.

I can't comment too much on the first part of your post...
But the second part, YES, imagination plays a HUGE role in Astral Projection.

I firmly believe now that what we call the "imagination" *IS* the place where we dream, lucid dream and astral project.
People just call it different things... imagination, subconscious, the astral.

Learning how to use your imagination to "visualize" is a big step in learning how to project.
We use this knowledge to our advantage using Franks Phasing Model (http://www.astralpulse.com/frankkepple.html).

Yeah, imagination is very important.  I definitely use my imagination as a method to induce conscious projection experiences.  Imagination is what has formed the world around us that we experience.  Imagination is also excellent for freeing ourselves from belief systems, which is actually a reciprocating process.  The more we master our beliefs the more we can imagine, the more we can imagine the more we can free ourselves from deeply embedded binding beliefs that have been brainwashed conditioned into our subconscious since birth.
