Whats the difference

Between thinking about a place in your mind during the day without trying to AP and thinking about a place in your mind while in the vibrational state. Isnt AP all in your minds eye nothing more?

I don't understand exactly what you mean by your mind's eye. AP is not just imagining flying around. You see it like you might see a hallucination, a dream or real life.

If I think right now in my head that im flying over mountains, is that the same feeling as AP? Or does AP look and feel like you are really there? Cause I can reach the vibrational state every night but when I think about flying or something I just stay in the vibrational state and nothing happens.

No. It's not a visualisation, it's like reality. And you can't just think yourself out, you have to will yourself out / move your second body.

So I should just keep practicing the vibrational state over and over till I start to feel out of my body?

Visualization is a form of AP, just as dreams are, Astral Projection takes place in the Astral Plane which is the same place your imagination resides. The difference between Astral Projection, Visualization, and dreaming is just your level of focus and awareness.

Astral Projection feels as real as you feel right now, you probably won't realize your out of your body the first few times. That's how real it is.

I can promise you if you're stubborn enough you will eventually succeed. And it will blow your mind.

If you're reaching the vibrational state you're on the edge and as close as you can be before you're out. Grats.

First, You won't feel out of your body. You'll think you're still in your body, but you will be out of your body. It's that real. Think about what that means, and read those words literally.

It's hard to explain how to get out once you're feeling vibrations. I think it's different to some degree for everyone.

Explain exactly what you experience when you get vibrations, as much detail as possible. What do you feel? What do you see? What do you hear? It may help to give you a fine tuned techinque.

Hmmm.. it's hard to remember from way back then when it was hard for me.

Imagine you're an infant, you're laying in bed and you think about sitting up, you think and think visualizing yourself to sit up, but it does not happen. What it does do is inspire your subconcious. And slowly with each time you do this your subconcious creates more neural connections that will some day allow you to situp.

So yes, at first you want to get into the vibrational state and try to wiggle your way out of your body, but ultimately this just builds the idea into your subconcious.

Only when it is ready will you actually project.

Once you've tried and tried and tried, and failed and failed and failed, then when you're ready do not try. When you get the vibrations do not think, do not feel your body, do not feel your astral body, do not feel that you are out of your body. Just keep your mind quite and know that you will project. Try to find the neural pathways that allow you to do this. Find the way inside your mind, just as you command your fingers to type.

If you start to feel it just a little keep pushing your energy into doing it. Read, read, read, and read. There are countless techinques on this forum.

After about 10 mins I become numb as usual. Then 5-10 mins after this I get an ant like crawling sensation on my neck and feet usually. I keep my focus and after a few more mins my whole body starts to shake as if being shocked. While this is happening I see different colors and patterns in my minds eye usually very bright. Then I start to sort of sway left and right and thats as far as I get. I keep swaying and thinking about leaving my body but ntohing happens. I have read every technique out there and I think the easiest is thinking about being somewhere  else in your room before you project.

I have found that when you're swaying (I call those 'end stage vibrations') it's best to try an exit method that takes advantage of it, for example try 'bodysurfing' into them, or a waterskiing visualization- sometimes trying to visually synchronize with them will get you out.  The important thing is that you're almost out at that point.  If you're seeing a vortex of colors (that isn't rare in this type of exit) leaning into it as if you were going to jump in can do the trick.

So imagine in my minds eye that I am diving "into" these colors? Or should I simply imagine my astral body above my physical body during the body swaying phase.

Don't 'imagine'- do it.  If your body moves you're not in trance deep enough.

Every night im deep enough in trance to push down my astral hands and I feel like they keep going while my physical hands are still.
