Vibrations or out of body experiences. Which is a more exciting experience?

I personally say vibrations are more exciting, since I feel energized for a few hours afterwards. Please let me know your answers.

It depends from, what for an OBE or what for vibrations are experienced and how often the experiencing person already had an OBE and Vibrations.

I experienced a total of dozenz of hours of pure vibration state in my learning phase. But i think these vibration states are not as cool, as a real OBE. And the vibrations are also not as cool as some other things, which one can experience (accidentally) during an OBE attempt.

I see vibrations as a side effect of projection, not something I really want. I'll take a straight-up OBE any day.

Same here - never really given it much though, the OOBE has always been in the center of my attention But yeah, vibrations are fun, too.

Some of us dont get vibrations. Until a few months ago I had them once, that was in 1969.. After that they appeared twice in one week.  Then nothing. Ive been around the block too so maybe they are not really neccessary.
What say you......?

They are definitly not neccessary. The chance of a succesful OBE is even higher, if one chooses a method, which overrides the vibrations.

The occurrence of vibrations depends from the applied method and the actions during the relaxation. If one is more passive, one will not have any vibrations. The best OBE methods are passive.

Agreed. they are not necessary at all.

I went through a period where I got them at the beginning of each separation and slowly they got softer and eventually faded away, mostly... and then maybe come back a little sometimes... but mostly -- gone now.

Compared to the actual OBE event and experience they are almost nothing.

--Starting OBEs by means of visualizations (it is meant real seen inner movies)
--Projection by intense and plastic imagination of a well known place.
--Tunnel methods
--Starting astral projections after a dream phase
--Stepping out in false awakening - this may be etheric but can be mere astral as well.

--Trance method "floating out of the body"
--Trance method or near sleep method of "stepping out of the body"

 Yes it seems he has been very thorough in his research and he has covered all the bases nicely. I especially like the area that gives helpful hints and identifies the common problems people face during while attempting Astral Travel.
