Take one step at a time, and you will do fine :)

Follow you're own advice, stay passive.  Perhaps if you can find something in the real world that excites you and teach yourself to remain calm and relaxed during that, it will help you in that stage of projection.  IE- Go on a roller coaster a few times and don't scream or tense up, just remain calm and relaxed.  Just an example, but you get the idea.

Probably the more you do it the less you'll get this response. As with anything that really excites you it gradualy becomes common ground and has little affect on you. just a thought

Hello Friends

So i was asleep today, and when i woke up, i decided (for the first time) to try to project. I found it was very easy to get to the vibration point. In fact, i was so relaxed, that i was able to open my eyes and shift myself in the bed, and still have some vibrations going.  My first attempt failed as i slipped into a lucid dream of some first person shooter game(dont ask), I stopped the dream and then tried again.

This time i was able to get to the borderline. I felt my arms begin to float, however just like in everytime before, i feel like this lump of excitement, like adrenaline, that kills it.

I dont know how to stop this emotion, if i can stay passive, i know i can project. This feeling also makes it hard to breath, so in trying to catch my breath i lose concentration

Any Tips?
