this is a weird tip but though i would share it.
during my practice i either fall asleep or nothing happens
until this.....
i work with kurdish people and they put fresh mint in there tea i started drinking it that way n thought mmmmmm mabye its the mint that is making me project more but then i stopped drinking the tea and stopped projecting then i had 2 teapots full of tea last night an hour befoire bed.
the hour before i slept i went to the toilet which emptyied most the tea out except mabye the last few cups and i did nt wanna b disturbed so i strained but did nt need the toilet that much to go. so i just meditated anyways and projected then woke up and went to the toilet
ok so i think wat made me project is it tea itself
no what made me project was that tiny discomfort that did nt stop me from relaxing but by the time i fell asleep it wud b discomfertable
i think thats what helped.
because it kept my aware that my physical cant sleep yet but i learned to manual override that discomfort for a short period of relaxation but it kept reminding me it was there
just like the timer in lucidology
well dont know if am making sense but worth a try
Fourthdimension,
I'm not sure if you mean that it's the tea that's having an effect, or the discomfort caused by needing to visit the bathroom? Can you clarify?
its the discomfort cause when i drink it it has nt yet digeststed but i can feel it slowly building up.
i mediate and by that time the tea has started to cause little discomfort due to needing toilet but not enough discomfort to distract me but enough to stop me from falling asleep. i project come back then use the toilet then sleep hahaha lmao
Well i think discomfort can cause a more probable OBE, like when ur sick, or DIEING. or needing to pee. I've had half-lucid dreams where i'll be peeing ... also when i'm mentally and physically strained, I'll find my body doing weird things before sleep, like twitching and very vivid visualizations of the day.
He says he usually falls asleep or nothing happens. Tea has caffeine which can make your mind stay awake. I drink tea too sometimes before I go to bed, so I can spend more time meditating before I'm too tired to continue.
does mint have any properties that help meditiation
Didn't know about it helping meditation, but mint definately improves dream clarity and recall.
Is it tea made from mint or mint adding to tea (like typical black tea)?
its just a tea pot of norml tea with mint leaves added
