Waving My Arms in the Air

Twas the night before last...

I awoke during the night (about 1.30am) and couldn't get back to sleep.  I think I had a bit of heartburn.  I tossed and turned for a while and then lay on my back with my arms above my head on the pillow.

After a while, I realised my spirit arms were waving around.  I was totally and utterly awake.  Possibly, the most awake I've ever been during an OBE.  I focused on my spirit arms and they slowly and gently lowered themselves, one to the bedside cabinet and the other over to where G lay.  As my right spirit arm landed where G's face was, it tingled, as if the energy from my arm was reacting with the energy from G's face.  I moved it away in case it disturbed G and caused him to wake up.

Then I put my spirit arms in front of my eyes (which were closed).  I could see the shapes of them (they looked real) in front of the curtains.  I waved them around, just watching them.  Then I rubbed them together.  I felt friction, rather like a very mild electric shock.

I wondered if I was going to be able to get up, but I felt that only my arms were in spirit form.  Indeed, when I thought about my legs, I could feel the bedclothes weighing heavily on my right toes!

I put my spirit hands over my forehead, as a sort of healing touch.  This felt like friction, rather than like real hands.

Then I put my arms in front of my closed eyes again and put my hands together slowly.  I watched as my hands came together, but they never touched, there was about half an inch between them when they naturally stopped.

I wasn't sure what else to do with them, and eventually my consciousness rose to full waking level, whereupon I turned onto my side and went to sleep.

It was amazing because I was so gob-smackingly awake.  I felt that 90% of my body was physical, with only my arms as spirit.  I love experiences like this one, purely for their clarity.  It was a pleasure to simply lie there and wave my arms around, enjoying the sensation and knowledge that it was so magnificently real!

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

I had a similar experience many years ago. I was sleeping with my left hand under the pillow(i was on my stomach). My hand started to tingle but I didn't move as I was trying to project. After a while I checked if I could move my fingers, and they did. What was strange was how light they felt so I decided to lift my head and check my hand. First i looked at my hand which was lying on the bed, then I lifted my middle finger and behold I saw my astral finger rising from inside the physical one. They both looked the same, so basicly I had 2 middle fingers for awhile! Seeing the astral one freaked me out, so I jumped and messaged my hand to make it "whole" again.

This was interesting experience because I too was wide awake when it happened, and it did prove to me the existence of astral body. Well I believed in it's existence, but as the saying goes, seeing is believing.

When I first started working towards projections, that was one of the first things that floated out, my arms. (they still are)

Funny because I would lay there checking them out, waving them around.. wasted alot of time I think..lol  Mine were all sparkly and a bit see-thru.  I also caught a glimpse of my astral double headed out the bedroom door ONCE... have no idea how I managed that one, but it had the shape of a body with a milky whiteness to it, no sparkles.
