ha ha . . . I'm thinking about my "hot feet" from meditating last night . . . anyway . . . you are most likely just feeling increased energy flowing through that part of your body . . . it is not used to it, so it feels weird.

Accept it as a good sign that things are progressing, and as a CHALLENGE . . . here is something ELSE to IGNORE!  Next time it happens, act bored by the phenomenon and continue with your meditation.  The more you do energy work, the more strange things you will feel but after awhile the energy pathways in your body will turn into superhighways and you will cease to feel it so much.

A lot of times when I meditate in bed, I turn a fan on the foot of my bed and stick my feet out from under the covers because of the "hot feet"

Yea that feeling is great I have it a lot too
The cool thing is that it can't go wrong it it just always works.
One of the things I like the most about meditating so far is the diferent feelings that occur after a short while , I really enjoy it when I feel my body go numb .

Hi all,

This morning, something very odd happened.  As I lay there, meditating lying down on my back and attempting the rope, I started to get a little tingle in the leg.  I dismissed it, because I usually get the occasional tingle.  Then, it began to spread like wildfire throughout my feet and legs!  It felt as if someone was poking me with a buncha needles all over my feet and legs in random spots repeatedly.  Before I knew it my entire feet and legs were tingling with this sensation and even *ahem* Mr. Happy got a bit excited...

Anyway, I was surprised and I broke concentration a bit but they still didn't die down.  Eventually they did, but my feet were as numb as can be from that point on.

Was this vibrations or cobwebs or something else?

Thanks,
Justin
