strange voices

So I have been on and of this site since my schedule can go from slow to busy. I am able to project at will from time to time but I am a bit rusty which is causing my experiences to feel very physical. What I mean by this is that I am able to leave my body but I am still restricted to physical laws (unable to float or phase through walls). This, however, could be related to the fact that the last few times it happened, my mind has been very tired which could be translating into my experiences.

Now to get back on track with what my subject heading is talking about. Every now and then when I am in the pre projection phases, I hear strange voices which I can best describe as eavesdropping on a phone call or picking up radio stations. I know that auditory hallucinations are common when attempting to project but this is the first time I have heard something like this. Does anyone have similar experiences?

VERY common.

This is a known phenomenon that almost everyone experiences in the hypnogogic state people pass through on the way to sleep. The practice of projection just has the effect of leaving the projector a bit more aware of this situation.

You aren't weird, and there isn't really too much about the situation to be concerned about. Just sort of a fact of life. In fact, it is one of the middle-of-the-road signposts you are nearing the proper state.
