Hey lou,
Lots of people have ringing sounds in their ears when they are meditating, etc. You are possibly getting these ringing/buzzing noises just starting up when you experience the mozzy effect.

Just now I had what I think is the first astral hearing Ive ever had, where I heard a woman groan/shreik. It hit my right ear with a kind of shock wave effect and sounded very real yet not like there was someone right there next to me.

Sorry, what is the Mozzy affect?  And I have been hearing the typical sounds forever.  This one is new, while I am awake, and not during any meditation, OBE times.

Anyone else?

Also some cases of Ringing in the ear is sometimes a problem with the ear to make sure it isn't you might want to get your ear checked for infection or something cause you don't wanna lose all your hearing. That would suck. Or would it.  But most the time there isn't anything wrong

Oh whoops ok if its not during meditation then it *might* be tinatus. I think thats what its called. Do you listen to a lot of loud music/work in a really noisy place? If you damage your ears you can get a constant ringing sound occuring. However if its just starting and stopping in a very short amount of time i doubt thats it.

These noises are regarded as side-effects of kundalini awakening. When I first experienced it, it seemed me that I was attacked by giant bugs, flying around my head. But one-sided noises tend to diminsh with time, so, I tend to think that their cause is simply inappropriate connections between the hemispheres.

Ok,

We have all talked/heard about music, bells, ringing, tones, etc in our ears.  Mine is almost always in my left.

For several days now I keep hearing something in my right ear.  It is almost exactly but not quite the same (wow Douglas Adams flashback),

It sounds like when a mosquito flies into your ear.  But there is nothing there.  And it happens in different places I go.  Home, work, car, etc.

Any one else hear anything like that or am I losing my mind?
