On " crystal radios "  there basically a long antenna hooked to a tuned circuit , the crystal is a rec.( like a 1n34 ect.)  then a pair of head phones . No amp , only the power of the signal makes it work . There vary  easy  to build , with a few parts . Some oscillators will use a quartz crystal to keep on an exact freq.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_radio   desert rat

Hey guys,
If you wanna know about quartz crystals and radio then its my subject.
Ask away but try and keep it on topic.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Chakras are a no-brainer to me, because I experience them directly and am even surprised when people say they've never felt them. It's unmistakable for me. The first time my heart chakra went crazy was before I had ever heard of chakras. It was later I was able to associate it.

I don't to crystals, don't know much about them, but also don't deny they could have some subtle effects. Even the Monroe institute has some sort of idea on crystals and apparently has a giant one there and "there".

Maybe I take Chakras for granted... Maybe I am in tune with them so much that they are simply there and therefore are something that I instinctively use on a completely natural level and don't notice as anything 'different' or unusual... like muscles or the brain.

If any one does not know what the chakras are http://www.aznewage.com/chakras.htm   On crystals , find out what you want to do , get info on crystals , off the net  , or from a book .  Find a new age store / rock and gem store , most are only a few $ ( USA) Some people only use natural crystals , others like them cut in to jewelry .(pendents , crosses , ect)    If any one still needs info on crystal radios , some of the electronic forums may have discussions . desert rat

Yeah, you've got it, that's what I said further above, just in a nutshell.

Btw, I've had several experiences where I now believe that I 'visualised' my chakras, it's also in a thread here somewhere. It was a kind of inner (body) vision, so to speak, although the chakras also extend beyond the body and some are said to be out of the body, such as the Earth chakra (below your feed) and the Star chakra (above your head).

I agree with Dreamshards.  I think anything will help you to ap whether it is crystals, a lucky charm or a soft toy.  If you think it will help you to ap, it will help you to ap.  If you are unsure that it will help you then it probably will not help you to ap.

Intention is very important but in the super solid world we live in intention is not all powerful. If you jump from the balcony, intention won't be there to save you (most likely) because there are other objective factors coming into play. There are certain tools that do help for AP objectively and, if you can couple that with a good intention, even better.  But let's not go into the extremes. If we were living in the astral planes with the fluidity of Dreamland - yes, intention would be all-powerful. But we are dense and there are certain objective physical and energetic factors and laws that do matter on their own.

Well.. i dont know how it works, but when I enter a crystal/gem store I feel the effect of it immediately. I get all dizzy. The first time I ordered crystals I had the same effect, I had to put em down because I felt it so strong. That is proof enough to mee that it affects me. But how and on what lever I have no clue. I just wear them occasionally.
I bought this necklace from this site here ( http://www.orgonecrystals.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=nano-lemurian-pendant-black&cat=28 ).
Its effect on me is strong the first day, then I think I get used to it somehow as the effect disapears. But I can certainly recommend their stuff, its strong as hell. Also i can find no other site with the same quality of crystals/orgonite on the web. I think they are still pretty much alone on that market with that quality.

I was always intrigued with Frank's concepts of chakras. He was trying to do independent research and stayed away from new-age and religious concepts, yet he would often talk about his "energy centers" and how they would react with each other during different situations. He talked about "firing off" his heart center just for the feelings it would produce. Then later he said he wouldn't talk about them anymore because he felt they were too tied up with more new-age and mystical concepts he was trying to stay away from.

Isn't this just sheer hypocrisy by some authors? Mocking old Eastern (Chinese, Vedic) science (yes, I would call it a science indeed) stating that 'belief' in chakras is part of new-age superstition or whatever and then talking about 'energy centers' that exist in the body. Old wine in new bottles, huh?

I've been thinking about buying a few crystals, but they can get pretty expensive. Does the size of the crystal matter in regards to what effects they have?

I would suggest contacting David Sereda and ask for some scientific studies done on his pendants. His website is http://lightstreamtechnologies.com/ . He doesn't give me money to do this lol :D, I just think he is the guy to go to for such things.

Bedeekin

I'll send him a message on facebook telling him you should be paid! ;)

I see pendents around $10-$20 most un cut crystals are a few $ .   White quartz is all over my part of the state . You can pick them  up on public land .   The town of Quartzite got its name for the quartz there . If you find crystals "pricey " you may be looking in the wrong place , unless you want a rare crystal .  desert rat

Agreed, and also the fact that someone believes working with chakras works for them but they steer away from it because it's "new age"?
