WILD and Astral Projections are the same thing, no?

Okay i know there was a discussion about lucid dreams being related to astral projection a while ago but I wanted to discuss this special type of lucid dream, WILD. WILD is basically Astral Projection though right? Same technique(get to dream consciously instead of doing reality checks vs getting out consciously through rope and other methods) , very vivid, betterish recall? These seem very close to each other. How would you compare the two?(if anyone has done both) Which one do you think is a better experience?

"WILD" simply describes a method of projecting.  That's all.

It's not a separate *kind* of projecting.
