It's hard for me to say what it was since I wasn't there, and I have no idea what you did beforehand....

However, it sounds like it could have been the vibrations that one often feels when they awaken in a sleep paralysis state.  The only reason why I think this is because you say that there was no sound.

Logic

but he said he could hear it

it was weird. i've felt the vibrations before and this.. was weird. the only way i can describe it is feeling like the boogeyman is under your bed trying to stand up, and hitting his head, thus the bed jumps.

i dont remember if i was paralized or not, or if it was day or night (it might have been day.. i dont know.)

A lot of the AP experiences I heard happens in Mountins!

I have had an experience where it felt like my bed was shaking several times when I was younger. It wasn't bouncing up and down but it was shaking and I could hear the springs and the head board hitting the wall. Then it would just suddenly stop. It would't wind down it would just strop like it was never happining. Nobody else in the house heard it shaking so I now believe that it was not physically shaking.[:)]

Words.....there was a time when I believed in words!

that IS kind of weird huh? maybe moutains are more "pure" thann our polluted cities.

bringing up pureness, does health affect ap? like do you think a non smoker/moderate drinker/vegan would have an advantage compared to if they were a smoker/heavy drinker/carnivore?

that brings up the energy grid system too. maybe moutains, or atleast the ones we were at, are more "aligned"?

"In the universal language of mind, this mechanism device symbolizes willfull attention. Attention is the only sense of mind. Will is the faculty of mind by which we determine action and control of the Self. When willful attention is directed to cause movement in mind, there is the ability to access different levels of consciousness."

This is the meaning of "Elevator" from the book, " The Dreamer's Dictionary", by Barbara Condron.

This book, like so many other good dream books, can
explain why things happen to us (in waking life).
This demonstrates the thinning veil of our physical and non physical reality. Obes and such occur when one finds themself in a scene of waking life which also (aligned, the term JustLikeThePill uses) represents something in the subconscious realm.
The mountain ( higher elevation), and the base of the mountain (beginning journey), are at a higher elevation mentally. You are open and suseptible to some scenerios. You get what you ask for, whether you recognize it or not.
There are two paranormal experiences I have had that shows another example of this.Once it was a curtain between my bedroom and my grandparent's bedroom, the other was going up in an elevator one day. The curtain represents a veil with a mystery behind it (coming through), the elevator, like the moutain, higher elevation (something is at the top).

Maby I should go to the mountains and my AP chance would be 150% better![:P]
