Have you ever experienced psychic attack?

To go ahead and explain;

I had an attacker, many years back, who delighted in just walloping the stuffing out of me.  It was absolutly horrible..  My entire body would go numb, then full paralysis would occur, followed by "sight banding", where my sight would narrow, then black out.  This by itself was horrible, then the headaches would set in.  They are indescribible, pulsing, twisting pain, that just burns.  I hope, that no-one more must feel these headaches.

Two of the tree astral travellers I know personally have had the living excrement beaten out of them.  One was just telling me yesterday and may even submit a page on my web site about it and how she gets around it now (white light projection I think).  Said it left her feeling beaten up and she had a bad headache for 3 days straight afterwards...  Not nice!

The other one decided he never wanted to astral travel ever again after two entities set upon him and he even took up self-hypnosis to stop himself doing it (during his sleep I guess) - that's how bad it was.  Seems knowing how to protect yourself is VERY important indeed and should really be a part of the primers!  (Haven't seen it in a single how-to book yet which is a bit worrying.)  

Nice to see Robert's writing a book on self-defense, but what's the chances the average newbie is going to buy it?  But then do newbies ever get beaten up I wonder?  As I think both these people had been doing it for a while.

I don't know...maybe I should have read more carefully.  My definition of a direct attack doesn't quite match that one...that one might be a subcategory of direct attack.  *shrug*

The "other" attacks I've suffered have probably been far more traumatic.

Letsee...the entity which influenced my nervous system and instinctive responses for over 5 years of my life would probably be right up there....though this was not precisely frightening.  After the fact I am left with a profound sense of having been violated, but in reality it was more of a moderate inconvenience in my life, and was interesting enough for me to say that it wasn't completely bad.

I had a sent-dream attack once, too--this was someone who bounced up and down on me or shoved me while I was sleeping, I could feel the energy blows.  As well, I had several very vivid nightmares...however, I'd not had a nightmare in something like 6 years before that, and the ones I had during the attack were actuallly pretty funny after I woke up....(I dreamed my computer had a virus that caused it to play Super Mario Bros...snicker).  This attack also resulted in my first, one and only OOBE.  I "woke" in my dream several times, each time repeating the same actions of going to check my computer.  When I finally woke for real, that's just what I did. I felt slightly pummeled, but aside from that none the worse for wear.  Again, while not pleasant, this was a very interesting experience, and in retrospect I don't really mind having had it.

Possibly the worst attack was also the most fiendishly elaborate.  It began with a powerful overload attack, which came on so strongly and quickly that I could not ground it fully in time.  Then it settled to a vice like grip over my body.  It blocked my ability to concentrate, thus weakening my shields and my ability to ground.  I threw salt around my chair, called my (now ex) husband, and logged on to yell for help.  
Now, the next stage began.  A VERY prominant sigil appeared right in front of my forehead, accompanied by a ferocious headache.  Since the thing seemed to want me to "look" at it, I did my very best not to.  I did sneak a peek at one point, in order to be able to draw it.  (I wonder if I still have that thing somewhere?  Hmmmm...I hope so!)

My ex came home drunk, threw a shield over me, and passed out.  Yay.

Fortunately, I found a friend online.  He investigated, and found that there was some entity partially inside the shield.  It was projecting an impression of helplessness, that it had become caught there accidently, and was trying to get loose.  The obvious solution seemed to be to drop my shields to let it go, but intuition told me otherwise.  Fortunately, it seems.  My friend then turned his attention to the sigil.

As soon as he touched it, the "entity" exploded on him, become a "tar baby"...a sticky, spiny mess that attacked him violently.   This ended the confusion/overload attack for me, but left the sigil behind.  He limped off to try to clean himself up, and I had to wait until the next day to find another friend with enough sheer strength to shatter the sigil.  And a lot of force it took to do so, too.  It was really annoying having that thing hanging there like something that stays right in your peripheral vision, and  moves to match when you try to focus your eyes on it.

I took a lot of energetic damage from that attack, it was a couple of months before I was back to normal.

We guessed that someone, for some reason, had tried to use me as bait.  What we couldn't figure out is who the actual target was supposed to be.  We counterattacked these people sometime later, and they didn't have the pattern of anyone we'd encountered before.  There was a woman with black hair, somewhat curly, and green eyes, who seemed to be the leader of the group that attacked us--and another person with a metal plate in their head.  After we made a few of them cry uncle, they went after the friend of mine who'd triggered the tar baby.  Rescuing him, we trounced them again, and that was the last we ever "heard" from them.
It's still a mystery.

Those are the only attacks I'd suffered that I'd put in the category of 'memorable'.  They all occurred years ago, before I'd reached a reasonable level of training.

Just to set the record straight:  My book, Astral Dynamics, does have a fairly decent chapter on basic self defense in the astral, called 'Astral Combat'.

The original Astral Dynamics manuscript was close to 1,000 pages.  So, during content editing, everything not absolutely necessary was cut.

Originally, my book had some extensive chapters on psychic self defense.  Some of this content now sits as articles on the website, and some went into PPSD.  But my editor, Frank Demarko,  said these chapters asked more questions than they answered.  I had to either greatly expand on them, or delete them.  So they had to go.

The vast majority of projectors, spontaneous or deliberate, will never encounter anything scary, or come under attack, just because they are out of their bodies in an awake form.  As everyone projects in some fashion every time they sleep, even if only sleep projection where their projected doubles float out and sleep just above them, they are no more exposed to psychic or Neg attack during OBE than they are during normal sleep, or in the normal waking state for that matter. Those who do come under attack during awake OBE, will find the entities responsible are already active in their life at that time. So, having an awake OBE can be a good test as to the integrity of one's life, as it will usually show if anything nasty is operating in and around one's life at that time.

Yes have had direct attacks,usually manifest in the form of a weight against
my chest or head,or meditation/trancing/OBE,ing becomes erradic & my
double just wants to regroup defenses & put up shields.

I have had many attacks and still going through them, needing help with this situation. There have been attacks through lower level entities, which I seem to run into them or vise versa every time I astral Project, but my main attack would have to be of a man I believe I know on the outside of everything, although I have never met this man in person *only talking to him through e-mails and phone conversations*.. He has told me it's him doing this to me.. Sometimes he'll be nice to me during my astral projection, other times he'll be very mean and very domineering *sexually*.. He's a very intelligent person and knows how to get to me. It's come down to the point that every time I feel I'm going into a OBE state I wake myself up and stay up for almost the remaining of the night, until I feel it's safe for me again.. He has done this as well through Dreams and LD's..Is this something I have to live with for the rest of my life or can I fight him off?

I believe there are a lot countermeasures you can use to stop this from happening further.  I don't have a lot of time right now to list the things you may want to start doing, but I would immediately begin praying/meditating in order to repel this being.  You can attempt to increas your vibrational level and ascend beyond the planes in which these type of attacks occur.  He is obviously attacking you in the lower astral...  I would refer the problem to Robert and I would also read his work.  

Prayer, with faith, never fails and I always use this as my "weapon" against psychic attackers.  Keep us updated.

Thank you for taking the time to explain as well as give me some insight on what's going on.. Yes I do believe I am at a lower astral plane when this is going on. Actually just last night I was in my Lucid state of being and I was encountered by a bad entity, I was trying to run from him but I always seem to always be in slow mode when I try to run.. I remembered I was trying to find something high to jump off of, when doing this I always wake up or go into another dream, I couldn't find anything high so I stood there and wished myself to wake up, thinking I was awake, I got up and walked to my door to go out into the hall way and heard voices calling out to me, and realized that I was in a astral state of mind this time. when I realized this I  ran to my body and then awoke. It seems like these entities are basically attracted to ones energy, almost like giving them a charge as if a battery would to a car..  I have been doing this for years and years, but can't seem to get away from these entities.. I have been above the lower astral planes and visited my Akashic records once or twice, which was very amazing!

I will try to write Robert and explain my situations to him.. I have wrote William B as well, as well as others and they all seem to say the same thing and still I have problems..  It's all me and I need to really concentrate on what I'm doing.. Thank you for your advice!!

I think the records he is talking about, are the records of the Cosmos, that are all imprinted in some kind of a Spiritual library in one of the Spiritual realms.  The records contain everything that has happened concerning anyone or anything from the point of creation to the present.  Anyone else have any thoughts on this that they can add.

I don,t know what this is but i was attacked i just obe still half awke but it was a dark obe figue it went and walked to my hubby side then it noticed me looking and ran soo fast to my side and put it's hands around my troat to choke me and i tryed really hard to wake up but when it noticed i new it was choking me it ran off then i did wake up checked hubby he was okay but it has scared the daylights out of me ,so how do i protect myself,as it has inpacted on in me obe-ing this happened about two mths ago,pretty freak out by this not tryiing to scare anyone ,sure would like some help

Have you ever experienced psychic attack? And to what level?

To clarify (if more than one, choose the worst):

- Full possession is where an entity takes control of your body, causing it to do things against your will.
- Direct attack is usually accompanied by full body paralysis, overwhelming fear, often being shown distrubing things, even the neg/s involved (spiders, shadows, ugly humanoids, etc). Sometime also called night/sleep terrors.
- Repeating nightmares will cause you to obsess about them
- Heavy influence will make you do things which in retrospect seem unaccountable, usually with very high emotional levels destroying reason (fear, hate, anger, etc)
- Other attacks for anything not included above
