Hi,

 Eve, misled, tricked,  "captive" zombie, to do ill.  These are as the days of Noah.  Every thought and reaction of man was/is corrupted/tainted/fouled/snared.  They often forget that we even exist, that we are even here. Who Lives?

Sure, it's self defense.  One must first learn or understand what he (or others) is/was up against, in order to be able to gain ground, to devise or find some way to self defend.

I really don't feel a necessity to explain this.  

The biblical Eve stated that she was beguiled
(tricked) into eating the fruit.  The earth was
destroyed in Noahs day, when men became
mere zombies, when their thoughts and actions
were all corrupt (snares, tricks).  The bible states that
in the last days, just before the final trumphet,
that the earth will again be "as the days of Noah".
Meaning that man will once again become "misled"
that all of his thoughts and actions will be evil (corrupt).

One other such example is found in the book of John, where
Judas, who committed suicide after he was tricked (zombied)
into betraying Christ, contributing cause of Christ's death.
 
John 13 states:
1 Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

Men didn't become zombies, they became sinful. Sin != zombie. As for the last part, I get you, but they've been trumpeting about today being the final days for millenia, you're nothing new, and this is religion, not psychic self defense.

I am aware of the anguish of Judas, but he was not tricked, he turned him over willingly... at least he felt bad about it afterward. On a lighter note, that whole Dracula 2000 shtick was sweet. Anyway, he's not a zombie, he's just a bad bad man who fell into greed. Neat passages.
