It's one of the most helpful forums! And some people really need the PSD forum. But, really Rhinegirl, I don't think a forum would be shut down just because one person wants it to be, so there's not much to worry about.[

reasons I can think of are...
#1. it's entertaining.
#2. there are several posters here who are worthlistening to and conversing with despite disagreements, such as Kia, James, and Ender.
#3. There are people who need help in regards to psychic protection.
#4. To close this forum down to satisfy one persons manic whims woul be foolish and just plain wrong.

This place is messed up because there's very few original thinkers on this forum. It's turned into yesmen and catfights. perhaps the people who quit will be the ones not wanted, sadly enough most of the people worth hearing have left. Cracked santa is gone, ender rarely posts. DK seems to have a massive following of yesmen and anyone who disagrees with her gets shouted down and insulted.

I have found a great deal of useful and relevant information in previous posts and other various aspects of this site. There were bits and peices that I was able to take and use for my own purposes in helping myself and others.

#1. Part of teh entertainment comes from what people say here.
#2. Yes but Ender is more credible than you are and I still think you are being influenced by negs.
#3. Take the focus off yourself and look at others.

"shut down PSD Forum" and replace it with what? the DK's issues forum (which is what this place is turning into)

There are other forums elsewhere that can provide the necessary stability people under attack need, minus the finger pointing and the demand for explanations every time support is asked for.

well, if people have a problem with "finger pointing" and personal attacks and what not, don't do it and don't do it in retaliation either.

and i say that these forums should absolutely NOT be shut down. people are getting help and great discussions go on as well, eventhough other people clutter this place with nonsense.

as well, some of the greatest topics over all the internet sites i've ever visited are here in this forum (go to the very earliest posts in this forum and start reading from there). the energy forum also had some great posts in it (and i'm kicking myself for not having copied them to my harddrive before it was removed [xx(]) but sadly i do understand why it needed to be shut down.

this sub-forum has not come to that same state and i absolutely hope it never does.

and on one final note: explainations are not always a bad thing dk. sometimes a question must be asked of someone to get that someone to think in ways that they did not before, to get them to understand their situation from another perspective than just the one they currently see it as. useless arguing over minor details certainly isn't good, but asking for clarification or further details of a situation is good.

I've always thought your post had despair written all over them, maybe at one time this was justified, but even now? Couldn't you just stop that, maybe things would change, oh, but wait you have already given up!

Things are not that bad, but drowning in your negative view of things you won't see this, let alone work to change whatever is wrong.

Perhaps for you it's better to just leave it alone.

It doesn't have to be despair...it's only despair because most people can't envision living that way even for a few days never mind 6 years. Did surviving this far count for anything? Did the fact that someone intervened to break me free last year count for anything? Why is despair to be alive?

I think this whole "shutting down the PSD Forum" started when James stated;

Terms such as "negative" and "positive" get used way to much in these discussions, to the point where they become ridicolous. An approach or attitude that seems negative to others could be perfectly rational at the time for the one who carries it.

Besides, the term negative, as generally used in new age lingo, irritates the hell out of me. Every time I see it used I get an image in my head of a bunch of hippies running away in fear shouting "NOO!!! Negativity! My spirituality is eroding!! ERROOOODDDDIIINNNG!!!

DK I can be quite cordial to people who are not like me. Let me explain. When I was younger I was alot like you, I whined and moaned constantly. I was a little b***h to everyone around me because I was always dumping my problems on them and couldn't understand why no one wanted to be around me.
