Shadow People good or bad?

There seems to be a great buzz about 'shadow people' going around, and I was wondering if anyone here knows what this really is about.

I received a concerning note from a friend. I have shared dream walks with this friend and then recently he has changed drastically. He has become very argumentative and taken to playing quite mean emotional mind games. I am afraid for him. He seems to be embracing this darkness with open arms...

In his note he said that these shadow people are only dark on the out side, but they have their light inside. He said that he was visited by one last year, and that just a few days ago he shapeshifted into one in dreaming...

He is experienced in shapeshifting, but this frightens me because if you can shapeshift you know that it is more than just a form change...you need to completely embrace the being. What is he embracing? And should I be afraid for myself? He knows my energy and if he is embracing something very negative, they will also know my energy...it's like having someones fingerprint.

If anyone knows about this, can you please let me know?

I heard about this on one of Robert Bruce's radio interviews.  Some woman called in complaining of psychic troubles.  She had no control over her natural ability and said she saw "Shadow Men," often and it was most certainly a negative experience.

I can't be sure, but it sounds to me like they are some form of Negative Entitiy.  I would calmly and politely disassociate with your friend as it sounds like he could potentially cause you problems.

I've also read about Satanists saying that deep down "demons are our friends" and they hope to build meaningful relationships with them.  That's just nuts.  I don't think I'll be making friends with demons any time soon, and I would push the same advice on you for these "Shadow Men."  Especially if you can see them negatively influencing your friend.

The only thing I can ever recall hearing about "shadow people" is from the book "The Other Sky". It's a book basically about the extra-terrestrial encounters of 2 experiencers. In one of David's experiences, he was instructed by the ET's on how to open a portal in which thousands of these shadow people came flying out. He was scared at first obviously, but as it turns out, the shadow people were actually a positive thing.  

Here is a quote from the book:
"I still didn't have a clue as to the shadow beings' purpose; that is, until I eventually moved to Michigan many years later and met Landi (The other author of the book). She had also encountered the shadow beings. It was revealed to us that they were also called "sweepers", their main purpose being to sweep the planet and people of negativity and lower energy residuals. It was also revealed to us that the more negativity the shadow beings absorb, the darker they appear, until they are "recycled" and sent out again. Most astounding of all was the insight that we, and not the Grey's or any other non-terrestrials, had created them! They are a product of humankind, sent to help balance our world".

Anyhow, I have looked with a medium toothed comb, and here is what I have found about these "Shadow People" my friend has spoken of...

I listened to a very informative interview on these "shadow beings" with Art Bell and Dr. Morgan Spence. She has been studying these beings for 11 years...well she had in 2002 when this interview happened.

It seems that they have used the term as a blanket and that's what is confusing. The term as she and most folks are using it simply means any shadow you see flit by out of the corner of your eye. Art was great at keeping the talk grounded and asked specifically what they were, but Morgan would not commit to anything. She said they could be Negs, Ghosts (as in used to be human, or other species/beings), Spirit/energy vampires, or anything we cannot see completely as they are vibrating in a different frequency.

She said that they reside in one or more of the other 8 dimensions, and can float beck and forth. She said that they can see us easily and they study us to know what we respond to the strongest...this way they can trigger a strong emotion in us to feed off of...Psychic Vampires.
They can disappear depending on their vibration level. They move very quickly compared to us, (which is no surprise.)

The thing that interested me was that they talked about energy levels in the atmosphere (having much to do with the electric things like TV and computer) And now I'm sure that HAARP would have something to add to this. but they said that the electric stuff was slowly breaking down the veil people talk about...opening a doorway.

So that's just a touch of what they talked about. What I see is that it's confusing because they are using it as a blanket term.

We can see the spirit, or feel it, and most of us can already tell if it's good or neg or whatever it may be. Some of us can completely recognize certain types of spirits...so it's confusing because it was sounding like a new kind of being, but it's not. It's new to people who are just raising their awareness that spirit is real.

So, my friend, now he is taking things a step further by embracing what I have always known as a Shade. A shadow being from the underworld.  And he would have me believe that it is a good being, which is the oldest trick in the book..."look into them, if you look right into their throat you will see the light in them" riiight...I am not sure what he will do for energy while he shifts into a shade, but I am not going to get close enough to find out. Shifting into a shade may be the one thing that can truly alter your soul...

I am a paranormal investigator with one of the more prominent "ghost hunting" groups in the US. Shadows and so-called "shadow men" are probably the most common apparition seen in places that are said to be haunted. I have experienced a number of them, one which I believe to be the spirit of my father. He was not (and is not) an evil man. However, on another occasion, my group was investigating the main house of what was a large plantation. I was upstairs, alone, and breaking down my video camera which I had set up while I investigated other areas of the site. One of my teammates was in the room directly below me and said that she heard footsteps in the room that I was in. I looked up and saw what I can best describe as a black amorphous cloud-like entity moving across the room. I was filled with an intense feeling of malignancy.

My advise is to be prepared for anything. As one who often comes into contact with spiritual beings I have a number of safeguards that I have up 24/7.

Shadow beings are very very VERY bad, dont try to embrace em at all.  Well, theres 1 occassion you MIGHT want too, but its kind of like a "give up your soul for power" type deal.  They'll really do some bad bad stuff, dont provoke them at all.  And no, i'm not speaking from personal theories/ideas/whatever, I have first hand experience, and I know people who have had bad experiences.  If you want a really detailed description of em, if like 3 people post i GUESS i can describe it on the message board, but if u want to know in depth, catch me on AIM at xshadowxspecterx.  If you need prevention tips (not wards/garlic/that stuff), i know them.  IF 3 people post i'll post an answer on forum, so ya, whatever u want ^_^.

Well, i'm back today, and i really dont get your joke middleway, lol.  That was kind of... random o.O, but maybe it was just me.  For the moment, i'll give you extremely general info for the moment.  Basically shadows (which basically look like a silhouette of a person, they're black and fully visible if you're "aware") are bad.  Usually its the same shadow that stalks you, and u can see them, even during broad daylight.  If you're good at feeling other people's energy, you can even sense shadow's energy.  It's much different than human energy.  From my experience, it'll makes you kind of completely freeze up, stop breathing, and it feels kind of like a punch in the gut (with no pain), and u get the wind knocked out of u.  It's usually REALLY strong, and you can feel it through your whole body.  Going along with shadows, if you ever seem to see a bloody/crimson mist (maybe crawls up your walls, or hovers over your door), that's a VERY bad sign.  Don't go near it at all, or something bad will happen (get knocked like 10 feet away off your feet, get choked, get a bad dose of negative energy).  And no, this is not a theory, this is all 1st hand experience once again.  I'm not really sure how to prevent getting attacked when you see the red mist, I guess the best you can do is hope nothing REALLY bad happens.  Theres more, but i don't want to make an essay about it on this forum because i still have stuff to do today, maybe i'll answer more questions in 3 hours, or tomorrow.  Ask away!

My main question was what to do if someone embraces this...specifically a shade, an underworld being of pretty complete negative energy. What to do if someone who is living, tries to shapeshift into one of these beings in order to gain the abilities of the shade?

First of all, there is no way a person can physically "shapeshift" into a shadow to gain powers, thats just ridiculous.  Now these shadows are fully adept at all powers of chi/energy, and know how to use them.  This may sound like something out of a movie, but if your friend does fully embrace the shadow, it will be like the affect of awakening his kundalini.  He will have a lot of "psychic" powers, but do you think that something will just give you power for free?  Embracing a shadow will make your friend COMPLETELY change, and be evil (cold hearted, unforgiving, manipulative).  A situation like this happened to my friend, and the shadows physically talk to you and u can actually hear them (no, my friend's not psycho).  Basically they made him weak (when he got near people with strong energies hed almost faint, he had black outs, he became fatigued, and he had a hard time concentrating for meditation) and told him that if he just embraced the shadows that they'd make him better, all he'd have to do was be "evil".  Luckily he didn't do it, and my OTHER friend (its a long story.... but basically she's "possessed" and the spirit knows how to do everything with energy) helped him out.  (If any of u want to know the story behind my possesed friend, say so, its really interesting ^_^  Me and the spirit had a very interesting conversation).  And the shadows can do a bunch of bad stuff, physically  and mentally to other people.  Don't take this as a joke, but they can basically manipulate people mentally to get what they want.  And ONCE AGAIN, this is all first hand knowledge, not theories.  If you're not good at energy/chi works, then all I can recommend is to coach your friend.  If your friend embraces this, it will probably kill him, and most likely people that pose a threat to the "shadow" and try to stop it.  This decision is all up to your friend, and it could end up bad.  There is 1 energy/chi technique to actualy repel shadows, but I don't know how to do it.  The only person i know who knows how is my one friend who is possessed, lol.  O well, if you have any more questions, or want to hear the story, ask.
