to be fair any good book that provokes your imagination, is a good book in my eyes.

A quick search yielded this:

Beyond the veil in the unknown state of being after death; the phrase is originally a figurative reference to the veil which in the Jewish Temple separated the main body of the Temple from the tabernacle, and derives particularly from Tyndale's translation of the Bible.

Although meditation (wet or dry) is generally recommended, I believe that, information wise, you can achieve much faster results with self hypnosis.

There are many-many different opinions about what there is after death, some expressed by honest people, some peddled for money, most parroted by well-meaning ignorant people. So, it is very difficult to sift the good from the bad information available in written, oral, or electronic form. That's why I recommend, to anybody who asks for sources of information, to try to get it first hand by turning inwards (hypnosis or meditation, no drugs), going deep, and there asking questions, and being open for answers, careful not to distort the answers with personal beliefs, emotions, or expectations.

Trying to do what you want to do, does take effort on both sides. but you need to take the first step and time.

First you need to most likey imagine the person you want to talk to. While doing this you need to put as much information into the entity in your imagination, not just information but the atmosphere that the person generally give's off whenever you are near them, obviously this atmosphere the entity gives off can't be put into words, its just felt and understood.

of course this kinda work takes time to understand and too get used too. At first when you are enteracting with this entity you want to talk to, you should puppet it in a sense that if you were talking to your self, but also with the intent of talking to who you want to talk to. Over time and with the right intent and belief in yourself, you should start seeing/understanding how to communicate with this entity better.
