Hi nikki,

I don't think you 'brought' in the spirit, it sounds like your basic haunting..hehe, footsteps, feeling of being touched, and the bed moving.  Please do not use the Ouija, that is like giving your house keys to a complete stranger! [:O] THAT will invite more spirits..so a big no, no on that one.  If you notice that you got conflicting answers, that is because it wasn't whom you thought it was.

It takes no special power to help this spirit to cross over.  You can smudge your house if you like, but next time you feel the presence, just tell her that she is confused and is no longer of this plane, your prayers of helping the spirit go 'into the light' will help greatly as well.

I would be interested to know if you start feeling two different spirits now, because of the Ouija board test....My opinion..you only had one spirit in your house and that is a girl and meant no harm what so ever, she is confused.  The one whom came through the Ouija board however, knows exactly what it is doing.

I did get a sense of confusion while I was using the oija board.  I used it because I have communicated with spirits that way in the past, and it's worked pretty well.  One thing I got the sense of was there was an element of uneducation from the spirit.  I got the sense it was a litte girl.  At one point, the spirit indicated an age of 1.  But then it changed to 15, then to 51. I can believe you on the second spirit.  Sometimes it seemed like I was talking to someone nice, and then it just switched to some jerk. [}:)]  I won't use it anymore, I really got nowhere with it.  

Thanks for all the opinions and suggestions.  Someone emailed me a bunch off the forum as well, so I'm going to try as many as I can.  I'll let everyone know how it goes.

         firstly, as Nay says, stop using the Ouija board. It could probably just complicate matters. I see you have no fear of it which is good. It doesnt sound like its being too bothersome and is probably just a wandering spook. Also sometimes, when doing Metaphysical work one can "light up" on the astral and attract a few harmless curious creatures that are not really much to worry about. I've also had the bed movement thing too and its wierd how a spirit can seem to have weight isnt it?

They've given some pretty good answers and have covered mostly everything. Though, it wouldn't hurt to help the little girl.  I find that jerky spirits are generally like living jerks.  I usually treat them like any other jerks I come across.  If it's just messing around like that, chances are, it's not some big evil entity (although it seems you've figured that out already), but just telling it to get out could cause it to get angry and cause trouble and be even more annoying

How would I go about helping the little girl without the jerk interfering?  I feel bad that there could be the ghost of a little girl in my house.  She's probably all scared and confused, if that is the case.

Well, for whats its worth, here is my opinion: You don't have the spirit of a little girl in your house. What you have is a spirit playing games because you invited it to by using the Ouija board. Just because it said "f" means nothing, especially when it contradicted itself (a much used confusion technique used by tricky spirits.) Forget the "little girl" idea, however cute it may seem, and just do a basic house cleansing. []

When the oujia board is used it opens a portal to a negative dimension.
I suggest you take the ouija board out during a sunny day,and expose it to sunlight for a few minutes. Then bury it in the Earth.

Ouija boards are trouble.
Get rid of it. The only way to close the portal you have opened by using a ouija board is to bury the thing face down. Place some purification herbs or cedar on top of it before you put the dirt on the ouija board.

There are better safer ways to do spirit work.

Anybody who tells you a ouija board is safe or is not going to cause you problems doesn't know what they are talking about.

I used one years ago,and even after I placed symbols of protection around myself and said some prayers I could feel negative things trying to use the board as a passage to my house.
I buried it. Then I did a ritual to call the archangels to my house to banish the evil things that had made it through the board.

I will say only one thing about the oiiji board.

IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TRAINED BY A MASTER AT THE USE OF THIS BURN THE DAMN THING AND MAKE SURE NOTHING IS LEFT. Oiiji boards have a wierd thing going where you might find that the board is back in your house the next day if you simply bury it or throw it in the garbage. Once the channeled spirit is in the board anyone who touches it can be channeled.

EDIT: I know that the above sounds a bit rough and unbelievable but I have had friends a long time ago who have experienced it. The only way to get rid of the thing is to burn it and make sure it got burned.

Now, on a lighter note I don't think you have to worry about that spirit as long as the board is burned, you do a simple smudging ritual along with some chants, and if any positive spirit is around they should not be affected. tell the little girl that she is welcome to stay if that is your intention, then if she is still around after the smudging (and you might have to go heavy with the smoke on this one) Then talk to her.

Do not talk to these spirits, just banish them. If your weakness is for children who are "lost on the spiritual plane" then that is what a neg will pretend to be. Unless you absolutely know what you are doing a say again, just do a houseclearing and forget about the "little girl" idea.

I am reluctant to go into more reasons than this in this thread but just please realize that "tricky spirits" can pretend to be whatever they want to. If a "little girl" gets your attention then thats what form they will take.

In my opinion I think that everyone is learning lessons,no matter how young, old, alive or not so alive. []  Just because we leave this plane when we die, it doesn't necessarily mean we stop learning.  So, I would say...yes, it sounds very plausible to me.

the universe has bad aspects to it as well as good aspects. things don't just get all perfect and good and holy once the physical form is left behind. the physical is just one aspect of a much greater reality, a reality where both joy and sorrow exist.

But anything looking like a human (unless recently deceased and still with a certain amount of etheric form) in spirit form is going to have to replenish its diminishing etheric form from somewhere eventually. Ever since we moved into this house, we've had all sorts of strange occurances.  When we first moved in, we went to bed as usual, and heard loud footsteps on the kitchen floor right outside our door.  No one was out there, the dogs were sleeping on our bedroom floor, and the cat was in a different room.  They were loud, definite footsteps, and both my husband and I heard them.  Even the dogs did, because they pricked up their ears and both looked in that direction.

That was a minor occurance compared to the recent stuff.  Occasionally when I go to bed, I feel some slight pressure pushing down on me through the covers.  The pressure was always so slight that I just didn't make a big deal out of it, but recently it's gotten worse.  One night after I went to bed (I was still wide awake, not very tired at all) the end of the bed sank down as if someone had sat on it.  I have a water bed, and I could actually feel the mattress sinking beneath my feet.  On other occasions since then I've gone to bed and definitely felt like there was a hand pushing down on top of me through the covers.  This was more than the minor incidents before.  Usually if I kick upward, it goes away.

The worst incident happened to my husband.  He said he had also been feeling the unseen hand pushing on him at night, and sometimes the end of the bed would sink down.  One night though, he was sound asleep, and woke up when he felt as if an actual human being had crawled on top of him and was just laying there!  His entire body pressed into the bed, and he couldn't move.  Finally he got his hand free, and he pushed upward.  The "thing" went away, and he was no longer pinned.  My husband says all of these things have usually happened soon after I go to bed, which is usually around 12:00 AM or so.  Now I think this is interesting because when I go to bed, I usually go into trance.  I pray to the god/dess, meditate, do spells, try to do astral projection, all of this in a deep state of trance.  My channels are wide open when I do this, but I also have shields up.  I'm thinking all of this has somehow attracted this ghost.  

If anyone has any suggestions on making this ghost move on out of my house, I'd appreciate it.  I don't feel too scared around this ghost, but I'm not exactly  happy about it either.  My husband and I tried a good old-fashioned oija board session to communicate with this spirit.  The spirit seemed uncooperative, in that he deliberately spelled nonsense words and pushed the pointer off the board on numerous occasions.  Ever time he did it, I said out loud, "come on now!"  I asked for his/her name, etc, and got nonsense.  I asked if it was male/female, got an "f" out of the deal, and then my husband asked if it was lying.  We got a "yes" as an answer.  Many of our answers were lies throughout the session.  The interesting thing was, I asked if it was of negative or positive alignment, and it spelled out "negatav."  I believed him on that one.  I asked if he knew he could move on to speak with his spirit guides on the astral plane, and then move on to the next incarnation, and he gave me a yes.  I then asked if he was afraid of facing the guides, and got a yes.  I asked if perhaps he had done something bad in his last life that caused him to fear facing his guides, and he said yes.  After that I got a lot more nonsense in answer to all my questions, especially pertaining to the fear of moving on to the next world.  He was completely unwilling to face the fear and move on, he just wanted to stay right here and be stubborn.  After the session ended (he dragged the pointer to goodbye, pushing it off the board at the same time), I said out loud, "Well I think you're a coward for wanting to remain dead for all eternity."  I was fairly frustrated at that point.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?
