I have had several OBEs, and each time I have had help from someone who looks just like my mom. When I was younger, one day she got really sad and told me that she had to leave. I cried, she left, and I did not see her again until the year I turned 17. For me, it as a no questions asked sort of thing that she was the same person, she gave me useful advice that I confirmed valid with several people.
Today, I had a livid dream. I knew it was just that, I knew I was dreaming, and I did several of the things I am able to do in a livid dream. I called out for my guide, found what I thought was her, and went over to it.
I asked her, " Can you help me out of body? I want to go to the astral."
She got angry, and said in a very anime villain style that she was not my guide, and stated that she would be the one who kills me.
I replied, "No, you're not going to kill me." With confidence, and said something typically good guy-ish that I would probably be a little embarrassed about if I remembered exactly. She said, "I knew your last two guides, they where you're great grandfather and your grandmother."
I said, "Yeah right! I have never met my great grandfather, and I hate my grandma with a passion!"
I got into a fight with her, kicked her around using several livid dream sort of abilities, and it was no surprise to me that I beat her up as easily as if I had made her up myself, she did nothing back and acted like a typical dream character I would make up.
If she really were some sort of neg, why would she answer when I called out to my spirit guide? I did not see in my head any face or appearance when I called for my spirit guide, I just called out for my spirit guide to meet me. Also, if she were a neg, wouldn't she want to trick me into thinking that she was my guide? Why would she make suck anime style bad guy statements, and why would she let me win a fight if her point was to scare me?
I think that my subconscious was stalling me, like it did not want me to leave. Maybe it was worried or concerned about me, I don't really know. Any ideas?
For me, being in a lucid dream and projecting are the same as far as how it looks, feels, tastes, sounds etc. Waking up in a dream is about the same as projecting minus the intent and preperation. Basically a free ride. Your mind made the villain up and you womped it righteously. I wouldnt read into it too much.
Hmm. I wonder why it looked like my guide though, my guide looks like my mom. ^^; It felt kind of funny beating up on my mom.
The strange thing is, awhile back something in the form of my mother took on a more sinister role, as a neg that really shook me up a lot. I don't think they are connected though, because a neg would be smarter than to show up in a place where a person has thier most power, state their entire entention as if it mattered, and then get beat up.
Good grief, I really shouldn't think into this. ^^; Thank you for your advice, I think you are right.
