Can psychics really see the past/future?

Your thread question can be answered like this.....
When a person sees an event within a time-frame, they are seeing a probability.  Many things can alter the outcome of what was seen, if it was on a personal level. And not much can be done to ease things on a country/planetary level.

This needs to be qualified with this next statement.  What a Seer gets as insight and what they pass on to the questioner can be hazed by the 'Psychics' own level of understanding, ability and clarity.

A clear intuitive psychic can pick up on insights from feelings and glimpses that come in haphazardly some times.  Other times we get a "streaming-video" showing what has happened.  

For me, it is not my choice how the Insights come. I just need to let it come on, to see and or feel it with clarity, then speak it to the person exactly how it was shown with no other additions.

I would tend to steer clear of Showy Psychics, as from my experience the clearest psychics are the ones who don't want the 'gift' or try to sell it.

I can say that yes, it is possible to predict the future. Some time ago I did a simple experiment predicting times my random uni buses would arrive, often not having any idea what the actual time was when I made the prediction, and the probability of getting all the hits I did by chance came out to be at least 1 in 750,000. If I were to include the near misses that came afterwards (my ability was 100% then dropped off, I'd just got back from holiday where I had been doing lots of energy work), we are talking about one in millions.

Yeah I have heard about psychics being brough in for detective work, its interesting stuff and IMO should be used more.

btw tayesin - the way I see predicting the future, I agree with you in part. From our perspective, and perhaps from the perspective of someone looking at the future in the akashic records (ie basically from relatively low zones), future is a series of probabilities. However, fronm the very highest perspective (think mystical 7 dimensional reality, with time becoming less and less of a factor as you move up the scale until it doesn't exist at all), past, present, and future and all rolled into a single point and, if we were able to access this zone, we would be able to see definite futures. I cant think of 2 examples from robert bruce and one example from elsewhere (ie actual experiences) that support this hypothesis.

Hi Rob,
I agree with your statement about 'time' being point, so that all things are really happening at the same time.  It makes a lot of sense from my own experience too of previous life and future seeing work.

I tried to keep my initial response simple so that the difference between seeing personal stuff for a person and the bigger world picture could be made clear.  The distinction being that we have the individual power to change what was seen on a personal level, and no power to change what will occur on the world scale.

The latter applying to seeing definite futures.

Hhhmm, thats something to chew on. Buut, I cant accept I have no power on the world stage, probably cos I have some big plans!!! And to quote Margaret Mead "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

I'm sure everyone has seen the signs for "$5 Psychic Readings" in their town or while traveling elsewhere. What I wanted to discuss here were your thoughts on using psychics for more than just personal entertainment, more specifically in police and detective work.

There's been documented cases in the past where police haven't been able to solve a crime, at which point they turn to a psychic for help. What I find the most interesting is when the psychics they hire actually solve the case.

What are your thoughts on this? What about using psychics to help solve some of the current investigations (such as the Peterson or Hacking trials?)

I'm not an expert myself on the topic, but I've been learning a bit more from a new show on Court TV called Psychic Detectives. It's on Wednesday's at 9:30pm in case you want to watch it too.
